Background: Upfront 2-stent techniques are often used in bifurcation percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), but there is controversy about optimal strategy selection.
Methods: The authors examined the clinical and angiographic characteristics and long-term outcomes of 232 bifurcation PCIs that were performed using the double kissing (DK) crush or culotte technique in 216 patients between 2014 and 2023 using data from the Prospective Global Registry for the Study of Bifurcation Lesion Interventions (NCT05100992). The inverse probability of treatment weighted (IPTW) Cox proportional hazards model was used to assess long-term outcomes.

Interactions with mycorrhizal fungi are increasingly recognized as crucial ecological factors influencing orchids' distribution and local abundance. While some orchid species interact with multiple fungal partners, others show selectivity in their mycorrhizal associations. Additionally, orchids that share the same habitat often form relationships with different fungal partners, possibly to reduce competition and ensure stable coexistence.

Purpose Of The Study: Open (incisional) biopsies have long been accepted as the gold standard in diagnosing bone and soft tissue tumors. However, the main disadvantage of this method is that it can lead to increased contamination, hematoma, infection, and pathological fracture. Compared to open biopsies, percutaneous core needle biopsies are less invasive, do not require hospitalization, have low costs and low complication rates, and there is no need for wound healing in cases that require radiotherapy.

Synergistic and antagonistic relationships between cytokinins and other plant growth regulators are important in response to changing environmental conditions. Our study aimed to determine the functions of SlHP2 and SlHP3, two members of cytokinin signaling in tomato, in drought stress response using CRISPR/Cas9-mediated mutagenesis. Ten distinct genome-edited lines were generated via Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated gene transfer and confirmed through Sanger sequencing.
