Objective: Nasal obstruction after rhinoplasty occurs due to narrowing of the internal nasal valve. Narrowing is due to osteotomy performed to close the open roof of nose after dorsum hump resection. Spreader grafts and autospreader flaps are used to prevent such narrowing.

Method: Eighteen adult Wistar Albino rats were included to study; 9 were male and 9 female. The exposure groups each contained 6 rats, and the control groups 3 rats.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate histopathologically and immunohistochemically the effects of environmental smoke on the vocal folds.
Methods: This study examined 20 healthy Wistar albino rats, which were divided into four groups of five rats. Group 1 was exposed to smoke for 45 days and group 2 for 90 days.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of dysphonia in children, several methods have been developed, including the Pediatric Voice Outcome Survey, the Pediatric Voice Handicap Index, and the Pediatric Voice-Related Quality of Life (PVRQOL) Survey. The aim of this study was to analyze the validity of the Turkish version of the PVRQOL Survey.
Methods: The PVRQOL Survey consists of 10 questions that evaluate the effects of dysphonia on quality of life.
Objective: The goal of this study was to evaluate the effects of radioactive iodine ablation therapy on voice quality of patients diagnosed with well-differentiated thyroid carcinoma.
Methods: We enrolled 36 patients who underwent total or subtotal thyroidectomy due to well-differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Voice recordings from patients were analyzed for acoustic and aerodynamic voice.

Objective: This study investigated the relationship between psychological well-being and different voice rehabilitation methods in total laryngectomy patients.
Methods: The study enrolled 96 patients who underwent total laryngectomy. The patients were divided into three groups according to the voice rehabilitation method used: esophageal speech (24 patients); a tracheoesophageal fistula and Provox 2 voice prosthesis (57 patients); or an electrolarynx (15 patients).

Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) is a disorder characterized by herpetic eruptions on the auricle, facial paralysis, and vestibulocochlear dysfunction and is attributed to varicella zoster virus (VZV) infection in the geniculate ganglion. Although it is a common cause of acute peripheral facial paralysis, children are not usually affected. The diagnosis is based on history and physical findings.

Methods: Thirty-five male patients who had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and who had been using bicalutamide and goserelin acetate combination for at least 12 months were included in the study.
