Objectives: The aim of this study was to show at what rate the technological equipment used in cataract surgery by Turkish ophthalmologists and their knowledge are reflected in practice and how up to date they are.
Materials And Methods: A questionnaire conducted using SurveyMonkey was used to evaluate the answers to 17 questions from 823 members of the Turkish Ophthalmological Association. Results were evaluated in subgroups according to the participants' age, occupational status, institutions, and whether they conducted relevant academic activities, and the data were compared as inadequate, standard, and contemporary approaches according to the determined criteria.

Objectives: Ankaferd BloodStopper (ABS) is a topical hemostatic agent that modulates the inflammatory response and accelerates wound healing. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of ABS on the colon anastomosis wound healing in a rat model.
Methods: Thirty-two Wistar albino rats were divided into four groups as follows: Group A (n=8), left colonic anastomosis plus ABS treatment (sacrificed on the 3 day); Group B (n=8) (control), left colonic anastomosis (sacrificed on the 3 day); Group C (n=8), left colonic anastomosis plus ABS treatment (sacrificed on the 7 day); and Group D (n=8) (control), left colonic anastomosis (sacrificed on the 7 day).

Objective: To compare the effects of laparoscopic cystectomy on ovarian reserve between women with endometrioma and dermoid cyst.
Materials And Methods: Thirty-six patients were diagnosed as having endometrioma (group A) and 32 patients with dermoid cyst (group B) using ultrasonography. Preoperative anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) levels were measured and unilateral antral follicle counts (AFC) were calculated for the ovary side containing the cyst.

Castleman's disease (CD) is a lymphoproliferative disorder and the occurrence of CD in the small bowel is rare. In this study, we present one case of CD causing mechanical intestinal obstruction due to involvement of terminal ileum. A 50-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with signs and symptoms of mechanical intestinal obstruction without history previous surgery.

Methods: Hospital records of patients who underwent surgery associated with phytobezoar between January 2004 and May 2016 were retrospectively evaluated.

Objective: To compare the successes of clomiphene citrate (CC) alone, pure human urinary follicle-stimulating hormone (uFSH) alone, and both combined sequentially in patients with unexplained subfertility couples undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI).
Materials And Methods: Patients aged 18-38 years who had a normal uterine cavity, at least one normal fallopian tube, and regular menses and were unable to conceive despite unprotected intercourse for at least 12 months were randomized to receive CC alone, uFSH alone, or sequential CC and uFSH before a single IUI. The primary outcomes were clinical pregnancy and live birth rates.

We present a case of infectious crystalline keratopathy in a patient with Graft-versus-Host disease (GVHD) who developed satellite fungal keratitis. A 51-year-old man was referred for bilateral total persistent corneal epithelial defects with severe dry eye. Although persistent epithelial defect healed with medical therapy, he developed stromal keratitis with satellite lesions confirmed to be secondary to Candida albicans.
