Objective: To assess the utility of urinary misfolded proteins (MP) in predicting preeclampsia (PE) in high-risk twin pregnancies.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted on 600 high-risk twin pregnancies at Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital from March to August 2021. Clinical data were collected, and urinary MP levels were measured.

The feasibility of using acoustic parameters to predict presbyphagia has been preliminarily confirmed. Considering that age and gender can influence the results of acoustic parameters, this study aimed to further explore the specific effects of age and gender on acoustic parameter analysis of the elderly population over 60 years old with presbyphagia. A total of 45 participants were enrolled and divided into three groups (60-69 years old, 70-79 years old, and 80-89 years old).

Background: Microplastics are environmental pollutants detected in various human organs and tissues. These particles originate from multiple sources including the degradation of larger plastic items and the intentional inclusion in consumer goods. Potential risks for human health resulting from microplastics exposure have also been reported.
