Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to investigate how sleep quality impacts ovarian reserve in women aged 20-40, using a cross-sectional design with 1,070 participants.
  • Results indicated that 29.35% of participants had poor sleep quality, which correlated with lower levels of antimüllerian hormone (AMH) and antral follicle count (AFC), and higher follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels.
  • The analysis suggested that worse sleep quality significantly increased the odds of having diminished ovarian reserve, with those in the poor sleep group being 4.43 times more likely to experience this compared to those with better sleep.
