Ovarian carcinoma, part of a heterogeneous group of tumours, is the main cause of death by gynaecological neoplasms. The diagnosis, in general, is delayed. Multiorgan diffusion, the necessity of a surgical operation and strong chemotherapy, and the eventual pathology due to patient age are all factors that require a multidisciplinary approach.
