Digital light processing (DLP) is rapidly growing in popularity as an additive manufacturing method for the fabrication of composite structures, and is an effective way to prepare high-resolution filled parts, such as ceramic green parts or composite magnets. Yet, higher solid loadings of resins and the resulting dramatic increases in viscosity limit DLP printing for applications that depend upon maximization of filler content. EMG feedback improves force control of a myoelectric hand prosthesis by conveying the magnitude of the myoelectric signal back to the users via tactile stimulation. The present study aimed to test if this method can be used by a participant with a high-level amputation, and whose muscle used for prosthesis control (pectoralis major) was not intuitively related to hand function. The Great Salt Lake (Utah, USA) is reducing in size, which raises several ecological concerns, including the effect of an increasing area of dry playa exposed by the retreating lake. This study focuses solely on concerns about the toxicity of metals in the dust blowing off the playa.
