Background: This study aimed to identify potential predictors and construct a predictive model for the quality of life (QoL) in patients with laryngeal carcinoma (LC) using the revised core nursing outcomes.

Methods: We recruited 331 LC patients underwent laryngectomy between March 2018 and March 2022 from three hospitals. To examine the factors that contribute to patient delays among individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and offer insights to help develop specific risk management strategies. Conducted as a cross-sectional study between September 2021 and April 2022, this study used a convenient sampling technique to select 245 individuals diagnosed with CKD from a Grade 3 Class A hospital located in Shanxi Province. These individuals were chosen as the subjects of the study.

As an alternative to traditional oral and intravenous injections with limited efficacy, transdermal drug delivery (TDD) has shown great promise in tumor treatment. Over the past decade, natural polymers have been designed into various nanocarriers due to their excellent biocompatibility, biodegradability, and easy availability, providing more options for TDD. Characteristics of oral microbiome of healthcare workers in different clinical scenarios: a cross-sectional analysis.

The environment of healthcare institutes (HCIs) potentially affects the internal microecology of medical workers, which is reflected not only in the well-studied gut microbiome but also in the more susceptible oral microbiome. We conducted a prospective cross-sectional cohort study in four hospital departments in Central China. Oropharyngeal swabs from 65 healthcare workers were collected and analyzed using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing.
