The majority of Iranian fig production is exported, making it one of the world's most well-known healthy crops. Therefore, the main objective of the current experiment was to investigate the effects of various types of organic fertilizers, such as animal manure (cow and sheep), bird manure (partridge, turkey, quail, and chicken), and vermicompost, on the nutritional status of trees, vegetative and reproductive tree characteristics, fruit yield, and fruit quality traits in dried fig cultivar ("Sabz"). According to the findings, applying organic fertilizers, particularly turkey and quail, significantly improves vegetative and reproductive characteristics.

Breast cancer (BrCa) ranks as the most prevalent malignant neoplasm affecting women worldwide. The expression of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) in BrCa has recently emerged as a biomarker for immunotherapy response, but traditional immunohistochemistry (IHC)-based methods are hindered by spatial and temporal heterogeneity. Noninvasive and quantitative PD-L1 imaging using appropriate radiotracers can serve to determine PD-L1 expression in tumors.

Purpose: Radiolabeled graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets has been one of the most extensively studied nanoplatform for in vivo radioisotope delivery. Herein, we describe the functionalization of the surface of GO nanosheets with FeO magnetic nanoparticles, cysteine amino acid as an interface ligand, and cadmium telluride quantum dots.
Materials And Methods: To enable In vivo PET imaging, the GO@FeO-cys-CdTe QDs were labeled with Ga to yield [Ga] Ga-Go@ FeO-Cys-CdTe QDs.

Recent research has highlighted the promising potential of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) in cancer therapy. However, variations in study outcomes are attributed to differences in CAP devices and plasma parameters, which lead to diverse compositions of plasma products, including electrons, charged particles, reactive species, UV light, and heat. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the optimal exposure time, duration, and direction-dependent cellular effects of two CAPs, based on argon and helium gases, on glioblastoma U-87 MG cancer cells and an animal model of GBM.

Detecting defects is critical in industrial fabrication, such as pipe welding, where radiography testing (RT) is the gold standard as a non-destructive method for monitoring weld quality and weld corrosion. The extraction of seamless information from radiographic images is critical for this approach. Image processing techniques can improve the quality of radiographic images by enhancing image contrast, especially in flawed regions.

The colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) has become a popular method for the rapid detection of plant viruses. This assay format uses antibodies labeled with colloidal gold to capture and detect specific viral antigens in plant samples. GICA offers several advantages over traditional laboratory-based methods, including speed, ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and accessibility, making it an attractive option for plant virology diagnostics.

Runaway electrons are a notable phenomenon occurring during the operation of a tokamak. Proper material selection for the tokamak's first wall structure and plasma facing components, particularly in large sizes tokamaks like ITER and DEMO, is crucial due to the energy deposition of runaway electrons on plasma facing components during collision events, resulting in severe heat transfer and material damage in the form of melting, corrosion, and fracture. These runaway electrons also contribute to the production of photoneutrons through (γ, n) nuclear reactions, lead to material activation and require remote handling.

The low range of alpha particles provides an opportunity to better target cancer cells theoretically leading to the introduction of interesting alpha emitter radiopharmaceuticals including Ac, Pb, etc. The combination of high energy and short range of alpha emitters differentiates targeted radiotherapy from other methods and reduces unwanted cytotoxicity of the cells around the tumoral tissue. Among interesting alpha emitters candidates for targeted therapy, At, one of the radioisotopes with the best optimal decay properties, shows great promise for targeted radiotherapy in some animal prostate cancer xenograft studies and bone micro tumors with significant effects compared to other beta and alpha emitters and also demonstrates interesting properties for clinical applications.

Tea plant necrotic ring blotch virus (TPNRBV) has emerged as a significant threat to tea plantations, primarily in China. Since 2020, similar symptoms have been observed in tea plants in northern Iran, raising concerns about the spread of this viral infection. In this study, we conducted an extensive investigation involving approximately 70 samples collected from both symptomatic and asymptomatic tea plants.

The highest quality pomegranate necessitates a tropical or subtropical environment for proper growth and development. This study evaluated two pomegranate cultivars including Rabab Poost Ghermez Neyriz (RPGN) and Makhmal Malas Shahreza (MMS) for physical traits, biochemical properties, and juice quality in their native locations as well as other warm and arid regions during two growing seasons (2019-2020 and 2020-2021) in Iran. The results showed that cultivars with the maximum redness (a*) were more likely to originate in cooler climates, and the cultivar's responses to changing climates were also different.

The laser ablation process has been presented as a state-of-the-art and robust method for eliminating surface layers of metallic bulk materials on the micro/nanoscale with considerable accuracy and speed. These capabilities make it an ideal instrument for the primary step of metallic bulk sample preparation for transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis with minimal damage to the crystal structure of the sample. This work prepared a pure aluminum plate by fiber laser scanning immersed in a 5 % perchloric acid and 95 % ethanol (by volume) solution.
