The aim of this paper is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Rebamipide (REB) ophthalmic suspension in dry eye disease (DED). A systematic review that only included full-length randomized controlled studies (RCTs) reporting the effects of REB ophthalmic suspension in three databases, PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science, was performed according to the PRISMA statement. The Cochrane risk of bias tool was used to analyze the quality of the studies selected.

Methods: This was a longitudinal, prospective, observational pilot study. We included consecutive myopic patients who underwent FS-LASIK to correct up to 6 dioptres of myopia and up to 2 dioptres of astigmatism.
Precis: Glaucoma surgery with PRESERFLO Microshunt shows mild and transient changes in the corneal astigmatism, corneal elevation and biometrics in the early postoperative period. Posterior corneal elevation (PCE) tends to be higher in primary open angle glaucoma (POAG).
Purpose: The aim was to determine the changes in the corneal keratometry, astigmatism and elevation, refraction, axial length (AL) and anterior chamber depth and volume after the implantation of the PRESERFLO Microshunt in patients with POAG in the early postoperative period.

Purpose: Thinner central corneal thickness (CCT) is a risk factor for conversion from ocular hypertension to glaucoma and for disease progression. However, little is known about the relationship between CCT and characteristics of the optic nerve and the retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL) in non-glaucomatous eyes. Because myopic eyes may pose diagnostic challenges when assessed for glaucoma, characterising the relationship between CCT and RNFL in these eyes is clinically relevant.

Unlabelled: Small-incision lenticule extraction and wavefront-guided femtosecond-assisted laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) provide good visual outcomes and an efficacious correction of myopia or myopic astigmatism with similar levels of safety. Some differences in predictability and the percentage of eyes gaining lines of corrected distance visual acuity are present. A higher level of coma is present after small-incision lenticule extraction, with no clear differences between techniques in spherical aberration.
