Electronic examination serves as an efficient method for assessing learning outcomes, yet the integration of computers into exam processes introduces potential for unreliability. In this article, we propose a formal model for electronic examinations using timed automata, providing a structured approach to understanding and managing the complexities. The electronic examination process is modeled by defining four UPPAAL templates, .

Interventions involving exposure to nature can increase self-regulatory resources. However, this improvement has never been examined in mentally fatigued soccer players who have insufficient resources to self-regulate and maintain specific performances. The present study aims to investigate how exposure to nature influences the self-regulation capability of university soccer players who are mentally fatigued.

Transition metal sulfides (TMSs) are considered as one of the most promising anode materials for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) in virtue of their high theoretical specific capacity, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, the intrinsic poor electron/ion transport, large volume change and the shuttle effect of polysulfides hinder their achievement of superb rate capability and cycle performance. Compared with the monometallic sulfides, bimetallic sulfides have superior electron transport capability and higher electrochemical activity.

Background: This study investigates the effects of open and closed exercise interventions on the physical and mental health of individuals undergoing substance use disorder (SUD). We examined changes in tendency of recurrence of use, vital capacity (VC), resting heart rate (RHR), sleep quality, and choice reaction time.
Methods: Conducted over six months at the drug rehabilitation center, 95 participants were randomly assigned to closed exercise, open exercise, or control group.

Background: Even though robust evidence suggests the high prevalence of eating disorders (EDs) in China, EDs in China are characterized by low diagnosis rates, delayed treatment-seeking, and ineffective treatments. Given that listening to patients' perspectives and lived experiences is crucial to improving our understanding of EDs in the Chinese context, an investigation of the perceived causes of EDs in Chinese individuals with EDs represents a key step in improving the prevention and treatment of EDs in China.
Aims: To explore the perceived causes of EDs based on data from a sample of Chinese social media users with self-reported EDs, with a particular focus on the Zhihu platform.

Flower color change, a common phenomenon that is important in pollination ecology, has intrigued scientists for decades. While previous flower color studies have mainly focused on color diversity among different plant species, our focus is on unraveling the mechanism of post-anthesis color change (PACC) and the molecular basis for its presence and absence, respectively, in two closely related species of Lotus, Lotus filicaulis and Lotus japonicus MG20. Metabolomic analysis reveals anthocyanins as the key metabolites responsible for the observed PACC.

Conventional post-modification methods usually face the fundamental challenge of balancing the high content of functional groups and large surface area for porous organic polymers (POPs). The reason, presumably, stems from ineffective and insufficient swelling of the porous structure of POP materials, which is detrimental to mass transfer and modification of functional groups, especially with large-sized ones. It is important to note that significant differences exist in the porous structures of POP materials in a solvent-free state after thermal activation and solvent swelling state.

The development of materials with high ambipolar mobility is pivotal for advancing multifunctional applications, yet such materials remain scarce. Presently, cubic boron arsenide (BAs) stands out as the premier ambipolar material, demonstrating an ambipolar mobility of ∼1600 cm V s at room temperature [ 2022, 377, 433 and 2022, 377, 437]. Herein, we illustrate that semiconducting AlBC, featuring a nonclathrate B-C framework in which a C atom bonds to the vertices of four distorted hexagonal antiprism B units via quasi-sp hybridization, is predicted to possess ambipolar carrier transport behavior.

Colon cancer, a malignant tumor caused by a malignant lesion of the colonic mucosal epithelium, has seen a high incidence in recent years. Fungi contain polysaccharides, terpenes, flavonoids, and other chemical components, and the diversity of these components determines the strength of a fungus's biological activity. Studies have shown that the chemical components in fungi can be used as drugs to inhibit the growth of colon cancer.

There is great value and significance to pay attention to the mental health status of children, especially those with special needs. This study examined the effects of self-confidence and campus bullying on anxiety in students, both with and without dyslexia. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 92 students in grades 3-5, half of whom had developmental dyslexia (DD).

A novel dual photoredox/copper-catalyzed three-component alkylcyanation of alkenes and 1,4-alkylcyanation of 1,3-enynes have been developed. In this radical cyanoalkylation reaction, the photoredox induced alkyl radical from sulfoxonium ylides adds to the carbon-carbon double bonds of styrenes or 1,3-enynes, and the generated benzylic or allenyl radicals couple with a Cu(II) cyanide complex to achieve selective cyanation. The reaction exhibits high chemo- and regioselectivity and a wide substrate scope, providing an efficient method for the synthesis of alkyl nitriles and allenyl nitriles in a single step.

Background: Existing meta-analyses suggest that exercise intervention may play a crucial therapeutic role in improving maternal depression, anxiety and fatigue symptoms. However, the efficacy varies across different exercise content, duration, frequency, cycle, intensity, format and intervention period.
Objective: Using meta-analysis to propose the best intervention program and examine the effect of exercise intervention on maternal depression, anxiety, and fatigue.

Due to the unclear pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and the lack of a completely cured medication, AD patients need to take medication in order and on time every day all one's life, which is difficult for severe memory impairment patients to strictly follow on time. Traditional AD drug carriers, such as sugar coating and capsules, rely on dissolution or fragmentation to achieve drug release, which lacks the interaction between drug molecules and carriers, thus they cannot achieve sufficient long-acting and sequential drug release. Herein, Mn-MOF-74, which ligand structure is similar to two antioxidants dihydroquercetin (DHQ) and resveratrol (Res) is chosen as the carrier.

The full utilization of lignocellulose involves two distinct catalytic routes: i) oxidative depolymerization of lignin and ii) acid/alkaline hydrolysis of hemicellulose and cellulose. To improve efficiency and reduce costs, constructing a single-cluster catalyst represents a desirable yet challenging strategy. Herein, triple-functional molecular polyoxometalates (POMs), NLLHVMoO (n = 1-6) were fabricated using N-lauroyl-l-lysine (NLL) and HVMoO as precursors.

The ability of photosensitizers (PSs) to generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) is crucial for photodynamic therapy (PDT). However, many traditional PSs face the drawbacks that aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) and highly expressed glutathione (GSH) in the tumor microenvironment seriously limit their ROS generation ability. Herein, we report two cationic dinuclear iridium complexes, and , which possess aggregation-induced emission (AIE).

The application of peracetic acid (PAA) in the advanced oxidation process has been demonstrated to be an effective approach for treating aqueous organic pollutants. In this study, it is the first time that biogas residue biochar (BRBC) derived from sludge anaerobic digestion plants was prepared and used as a PAA activator for sulfamethoxazole (SMX) degradation. The optimal SMX removal could achieve 92 % within 120 min under acidic conditions.
