Purpose: In China, stringent and long-lasting infection control measures, which were called "dynamic zero-COVID policy", have significantly affected the mental health of college students, particularly concerning depressive and insomnia symptoms. This study aims to investigate how depressive and insomnia symptoms evolved among Chinese college students throughout the pandemic, including the beginning and end of the dynamic zero-COVID policy period.

This study investigates the potential of ionic liquids (ILs) as sustainable solvents in ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) to efficiently recover luteolin from peanut shells. Among the range of ILs tested, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate stood out as the most effective solvent, achieving the highest extraction yield. The severe contamination of the plasticizer dibutyl phthalate (DBP) in agriculture soils is often accompanied by a decrease in nutrient utilization. Enhancing the passivation of heavy metals and increasing organic matter content during the composting of sewage sludge poses significant challenges for maximizing its utilization value. Results indicated that in the control, biochar, microbial agents and microbial agents-loaded biochar (BCLMA) groups, BCLMA addition led to a higher composting temperature, with increases of 17-62% in humic acid, 25-73% in germination index, and 30-35% in organic matter consumption. And the residual fraction of Cu, Zn, Cr and Cd were increased by 30%, 12%, 22% and 17%, respectively.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a common endocrine disruptor chemical that is widely used in the production of food plastic packaging, and it has been shown to potentially harm the reproductive system. However, the specific mechanism by which BPA induces apoptosis of Leydig cells (LCs) and inhibits testosterone synthesis in these cells is unclear.
