Gastric volvulus is a rare cause of acute abdomen in children. Usually it is associated with defects such as diaphragmatic hernia, hiatal hernia, eventration, and paralysis of the diaphragm. We report an extremely rare case presenting with acute intractable vomiting and abdominal distention.
