Rectal cancer is a malignant tumor of the distal colon of epithelial origin. Every year, more than 30,000 (30 969 - 2018) new cases of Rectal cancer and 16,000 deaths (16 151) are registered in Russia. The index of reliability of accounting (the ratio of the number of dead to sick) is 0,52%.

Aim: To study behavioral factors as a predictor of the adherence to psychopharmacotherapy in patients inclined to socially dangerous actions.

Material And Methods: The total number of people with mental disorders that pose a danger to society in the city of Cherepovets was 148 at the moment of the study. Eighty-three patients were examined.

The aim of our study is to search diagnostic tools for early detection of prenosological melatonin deficiency in postmenopausal women and women in menopausal transition with climacteric syndrome for establishment effective personalized prevention and treatment programs. In this study 221 women were enrolled. They were divided into four groups: the 1st group - 39 women in menopausal transition with climacteric syndrome, the 2nd group - 104 menopausal women with climacteric syndrome, the 3rd group - 41 women with physiological menopause, the 4th group - 37 healthy women in reproductive-age.

[The quality of research publications in psychiatry].

Aim: To evaluate the quality of research articles in psychiatry and addiction medicine published in 2015.

Material And Methods: Five experts analyzed 51 research publications from 13 psychiatric and addiction medicine journals using a standardized questionnaire, which contains 4 general questions (type or results of the study) and 21 questions on the quality of the study.

Results: Only 2 articles (4%) met all criteria, 64% of the articles refer to the methodologically least demonstrative (uncontrolled/one-time, series of cases, non-randomized).

Scanning electron microscopy of rat erythrocytes during chronic alcoholic intoxication combined with protein and vitamin deficit.

Electron microscopy revealed morphological changes in erythrocytes from rats with chronic alcoholic intoxication kept on protein- and vitamin B-deficient rations. All animals had anisopoikilocytosis (up to 50%). Most pronounced changes in erythrocyte population attesting to accelerated erythrocyte aging (stomato- and microcytosis, discocyte swelling, and spontaneous hemolysis) were found in alcohol-fed rats kept on deficient ration.
