Introduction: Non-tuberculous Mycobacteria are increasingly recognized, nowadays as an important pathogen in delayed surgical site infection in post operative cases. We here in describe cases of surgical site infection caused by Non-tuberculous Mycobacteria, seen in two centers in Jhapa. The aim of the study was to increase awareness of this atypical mycobacterial infection, prompt diagnosis, and treatment that may ultimately provide better care to patients.

Aim: To correlate the Pang and Lee class with the clinical course in a consecutive series of patients presenting with painful torticollis.
Methods: Forty-seven dynamic rotational computed tomography (CT) scans in 35 patients were classified into one of the five types defined by Pang and Li, including types I (atlantoaxial rotatopry fixation), II ("pathologic stickiness" without crossover of C1 on C2), III ("pathologic stickiness" with crossover of C1 on C2), IV (normal or muscular torticollis), and V (diagnostic grey zone). The Pang and Li class was then compared with the radiologist's report, which was graded abnormal, diagnosis of rotatory subluxation or fixation, or non-diagnostic.

Objective And Background: To evaluate possible roles for indocyanine green (ICG)-based FLOW 800 software in surgical treatment of cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVMs).
Methods: We perform ICG videoangiography several times for each step of AVM resection to elucidate feeders, drainers, and cerebral perfusion.
Results: Since 2010, 22 AVM surgeries in our department have been conducted using FLOW 800 intraoperatively.

Methods: This hospital based retrospective descriptive epidemiological study was based on patients discharged from a tertiary level health care center of eastern Nepal. Registry data of 1 year was used to calculate length of stay and analyze the variations.

We report a case of a mono-microbial post-cesarean necrotizing fasciitis caused by methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, in a low-risk healthy woman who presented with acute fulminant infection, sepsis and features of multi-organ dysfunction syndrome on sixth post-operative day. Aggressive management with multiple surgical debridement and supportive therapy was the key to favorable outcome in this case.

We report a case of obstructed labor in case of a pregnant lady with severe kyphosis of spine that was managed by caesarean section. Lateral recumbent position with adequate assistance and paramedian or vertical skin incision was used and found to provide good exposure.
