Purpose: This study aims to investigate the unique proteins in exosomes from mesenchymal stem cells derived from psoriatic lesions and compare them with those from healthy human skin. It seeks to identify potential regulatory factors that may influence the differential effects observed in these exosomes.

Methods: Dermal mesenchymal stem cell exosomes were isolated from healthy human skin (HDMSCs-EXO) and psoriatic lesion of patient (PDMSCs-EXO).

Malnutrition is a prevalent condition among patients with gastric cancer and is associated with poor survival outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical utility of the Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition (GLIM) criteria in predicting survival among patients with gastric cancer. The multicenter retrospective cohort study (INSCOC study) included 1406 patients enrolled between December 2012 and April 2020, with follow-up data collected until June 2023.

Interactive segmentation of medical images using deep learning.

Medical image segmentation algorithms based on deep learning have achieved good segmentation results in recent years, but they require a large amount of labeled data. When performing pixel-level labeling on medical images, labeling a target requires marking ten or even hundreds of points along its edge, which requires a lot of time and labor costs. To reduce the labeling cost, we utilize a click-based interactive segmentation method to generate high-quality segmentation labels.

We performed this study to identify whether NLR and PG-SGA score are associated with outcome and survival time for patients with NPC undergoing chemoradiotherapy.

Background: Bariatric surgery may be indicated in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) to achieve and maintain the degree of weight loss required to ensure therapeutic effects. In this retrospective study, we determined whether postoperative abdominal infectious complications are attributed to dislocation of intraperitoneal portion of drainage tube.

Background: The aim of this study was to determine whether the clinical value of scanned computed tomography (CT) images is higher when using ultra-high-resolution CT (U-HRCT) target scanning than conventional CT target reconstruction scanning in the evaluation of ground-glass-nodule (GGN)-like lung adenocarcinoma.

Methods: A total of 91 consecutive patients with isolated GGN-like lung adenocarcinoma were included in this study from April 2017 to June 2018. U-HRCT and conventional CT scans were conducted in all enrolled patients.
