Clinical features, radiological findings and prognosis of microscopic polyangiitis with interstitial lung disease: a retrospective matched control study.

Background: The association between interstitial lung disease (ILD) and microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) has received increasing attention in recent years. However, there are still no studies comparing clinical characteristics and prognoses between MPA-ILD patients and patients with ANCA-negative ILDs. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyse a group of patients presenting MPA-ILD matched with patients exhibiting ANCA-negative ILDs to identify differences in their clinical characteristics and survival.

The optimal stereotactic body radiotherapy dose with immunotherapy for pulmonary oligometastases: a retrospective cohort study.

Background: Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is a precise and effective treatment for pulmonary oligometastases, offering high local control (LC) rates. However, the optimal SBRT dose when combined with immunotherapy remains unclear, and there is a lack of comprehensive studies focusing on dose optimization in this setting. This study addresses this knowledge gap by exploring different SBRT dose regimens and their impact on progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and LC in patients receiving concurrent immunotherapy, offering novel insights into the synergistic effects of these treatments.

Clinicopathologic feature and treatment progress of high-grade ovarian neuroendocrine tumors.

High-grade Ovarian neuroendocrine tumors represent a rare subset of ovarian neoplasms characterized by aggressive behavior, poor prognosis, and early metastasis. Despite their clinical significance, the management of these tumors lacks consensus due to their low incidence. This comprehensive review encompasses literature spanning from 1991 to 2024, focusing on the clinical presentation, diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, prognostic indicators, treatment modalities, and recent advancements in the understanding of this condition.

Relationship between chemical industrial environment and allergic skin diseases.

Objective: This study is an exploration of the relationship between chemical industrial environment and allergic skin diseases.

Methods: In this retrospective analysis, 200 patients with allergic skin diseases who worked or lived in a chemical industrial zone and were admitted in our hospital between January 2018 and January 2020 were enrolled as Group A. Besides, 500 patients with allergic skin disease who lived in Zhenhai New District, five kilometers away from the chemical radiation zone, were selected as Group B.

miR-1187 induces podocyte injury and diabetic nephropathy through autophagy.

MicroRNAs plays important roles in the progression of diabetic nephropathy (DN) and podocyte injury. This study aimed to investigate the role and regulation mechanism of miR-1187 during the development of DN and podocyte injury. The content of miR-1187 in podocytes was up-regulated under high glucose (HG) treatment and increased in kidney tissue of db/db mice (DN model mice) compared with control db/m mice.

Association between Dietary Pattern, Nutritional Status, Metabolic Factors, and Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) can be harmful to the body to varying degrees, and over a prolonged period, patients may develop steatotic cirrhosis or even develop liver cancer based on cirrhosis. Moreover, its harms are related to its severity. Patients with severe steatosis develop hepatocyte destruction, transaminase abnormalities, and long-term progression to steatotic cirrhosis, or even liver cancer, which should be treated aggressively.
