Peritonitis-associated with peritoneal dialysis following Ureaplasma parvum infection: A case report and literature review.

We report a patient diagnosed with peritonitis due to a rare infection of Ureaplasma parvum after receiving peritoneal dialysis for two years. This microorganism rarely causes peritoneal dialysis-associated peritonitis (PDAP). This is the first case of PDAP caused by Ureaplasma parvum.

Effect of PD-L1 Expression for the PD-1/L1 Inhibitors on Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: A Meta-analysis Based on Randomised Controlled Trials.

Aims: As PD-L1 expression has been proposed as one of the cancer biomarkers for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the predictive value of tumour proportional score (TPS) in the effect of immunotherapy [programmed death protein-1/ligand 1 (PD-1/L1) inhibitors] for NSCLC is worth exploring further. Here, we aimed to summarise the outcomes of current NSCLC randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and explore the predictive value of TPS in clinical immunotherapy, including immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) with or without chemotherapy.

Materials And Methods: RCTs published by PubMed, Medline, Embase and Scopus before February 2023 comparing immunotherapy (PD-1/L1 with or without other therapy) versus a control group in advanced or metastatic NSCLC were included to assess the prognosis according to the patients' TPS with 1% and 50% as the thresholds.

Methods: A randomly clustered sampling method was performed, and selected pupils from grade 1 to grade 3 in 15 primary schools in the Fenghua District of Zhejiang Province were included and given myopia screening and uniform questionnaire survey 1 year later.

We retrospectively investigated the utilization and prescription characteristics of BZRAs for patients with anxiety disorders in a large tertiary care general hospital between 2018 and 2021, based on electronic healthcare records. We also examined the pattern of simultaneous consumption of multiple BZRA drugs, and the diseases coexisting with anxiety that are associated with this.

The relationship between artificial sweetener exposure and breast cancer (BC) incidence was evaluated by odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI).

Design: This study performed the characteristics of PCOS upon RH-IGF-1 injection and evaluated the disease process of PCOS syndrome caused by the insulin-resistant pathological condition of IGF-1 based on the comparative study of in vivo test.
