Non-invasive monitoring of glucose levels in tears and saliva is crucial for diagnosing and predicting various illnesses, such as diabetic nephropathy. However, the capability of the current glucose detection methods to identify small amounts of glucose with a high sensitivity remains a significant obstacle. This study proposes a simple, visual technique for sensitively detecting glucose levels from tears and saliva using glucose oxidase (GOx) to catalyze glucose and pistol-like DNAzyme (PLDz) to enhance the signal.

Prediction models were developed to assess the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) based on micronutrient intake, utilizing data from 90,167 UK Biobank participants. Four machine learning models were employed to predict CVD risk, with performance evaluation metrics including area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), accuracy, recall, specificity, and F1-score. The eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) model was utilized to rank the importance of 11 micronutrients in cardiovascular health.

The switch mechanism of "hotness" and "coldness" and its corresponding pathological characteristics and treatment strategies are the frontier and hot spot of tumor treatment. How to distinguish the "hotness" or "coldness" effectively and clarify the causes, microenvironment state, and characteristics are very important for the tumor response and efficacy treatments.
