Background: Appetite-regulating hormones are implicated in anorexia nervosa (AN) pathophysiology, however, data are limited for appetite-regulating hormones across the AN weight spectrum. We aimed to investigate fasting and post-prandial concentrations of appetite-regulating hormones - peptide YY (PYY), cholecystokinin (CCK), and ghrelin - among adolescent and young adult females across the AN weight spectrum, specifically those with AN and Atypical AN, and healthy controls (HC).

Methods: Participants (N = 95; ages 11-22 years) included 33 with AN, 25 with Atypical AN, and 37 HC.

Methods: The Abdominal Core Health Quality Collaborative registry was queried for patients undergoing VHR with mesh who were discharged the same or next day between January 2019 to October 2023.

Elotuzumab is an approved monoclonal antibody targeting SLAMF7 on plasma and NK cells that enhances the activity of lenalidomide, pomalidomide, and bortezomib in multiple myeloma (MM). The OPTIMISMM study showed improved outcomes with the combination of pomalidomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (PVd) in relapsed/refractory MM. We therefore studied adding elotuzumab to PVd (elo-PVd) in relapsed/refractory MM in a multicenter phase 2 trial.

Background: This study aimed to analyze the three-dimensional cervical motion characteristics in patients who underwent posterior atlantoaxial fusion surgeries using cone beam computed tomography and 3D3D registration technology.

Methods: The study selected 20 patients who underwent posterior atlantoaxial fusion surgery and 20 healthy people as the control group. All subjects underwent cone beam computed tomography scans of the occipital and cervical spine in 7 different functional positions, then 3D3D registration of Occipital-C7 was performed at each functional position to calculate the motion characteristics of each segment.

Purpose: Using time-driven activity-based costing (TDABC), we sought to compare the total facility costs, comprising supply and personnel costs during the episode of care for the index procedure, in patients with isolated medial compartmental knee osteoarthritis (OA) undergoing unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) versus total knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 100 UKAs and 100 TKAs from 2019 to 2022. From a larger sample of 4899 TKAs and 137 UKAs, patients with isolated medial OA (Kellgren-Lawrence Grade <2 in other compartments) were radiographically identified.
