Background: Extracorporeal septorhinoplasty (ECS) presents an important option in the surgical correction of the markedly deformed and twisted nose. However, there is a paucity of literature on the qualitative outcomes of ECS.
Methodology: Retrospective telephone and postal questionnaire study of operations performed over 2 years (2008-2009) under the care of a senior rhinologist at two linked hospitals in the United Kingdom.

We report on a case of oesophageal leiomyoma presenting as a potential cause of sudden airway obstruction. The patient presented with a large mass in the oral cavity after an episode of forceful vomiting. The operative findings and histology of which confirmed this to be an oesophageal leiomyoma emanating from the upper oesophagus, a rare finding.

Perivascular epithelioid cell tumors are recently characterized neoplasms composed of large clear HMB-45-positive epithelioid cells arranged in an organoid pattern. The histogenesis of these neoplasms remain obscure. We report here 2 such tumors in young female patients aged 19 and 16 years involving the urinary bladder and vagina, respectively (in the absence of the tuberous sclerosis complex) .
