Real-world evidence can support treatment effectiveness, safety, and tolerability in clinical practice and aid in treatment decisions.

Methods: A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to identify studies using DTG + 3TC (January 2013-March 2024).

Purpose Of The Review: Τhe association between nocturnal blood pressure (BP) and alterations in the retinal microvasculature remains understudied, with few available studies to provide conflicting results. Therefore, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine whether an association exists between retinal microvascular alterations and nocturnal BP patterns, determined by 24h ambulatory BP measurement.

Materials And Methods: This prospective study included patients undergoing orthognathic surgery between 2019 and 2020. Four weeks prior to surgery (T0) cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans and intra-oral scans (IOS) were acquired in an upright position.

Fluoxetine exerts anti-proliferative effect in human epidermal keratinocytes.

We have recently shown that fluoxetine (FX) suppressed polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid-induced inflammatory response and endothelin release in human epidermal keratinocytes, via the indirect inhibition of the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)-pathway. Because PI3K-signaling is a positive regulator of the proliferation, in the current, highly focused follow-up study, we assessed the effects of FX (14 µM) on the proliferation and differentiation of human epidermal keratinocytes. We found that FX exerted anti-proliferative actions in 2D cultures (HaCaT and primary human epidermal keratinocytes [NHEKs]; 48- and 72-h; CyQUANT-assay) as well as in 3D reconstructed epidermal equivalents (48-h; Ki-67 immunohistochemistry).

While impaired response inhibition has been reported in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), findings in disruptive behavior disorders (DBDs) have been inconsistent, probably due to unaccounted effects of co-occurring ADHD in DBD. This study investigated the associations of behavioral and neural correlates of response inhibition with DBD and ADHD symptom severity, covarying for each other in a dimensional approach. Functional magnetic resonance imaging data were available for 35 children and adolescents with DBDs (8-18 years old, 19 males), and 31 age-matched unaffected controls (18 males) while performing a performance-adjusted stop-signal task.

Biomarkers play a pivotal role in the selection and enrollment of trial participants. Particularly, predictive biomarkers help tailor medical care to individual patients; however, also prognostic biomarkers require consideration at the design stage. At the time of initiating a clinical trial, there may be uncertainty about whether a biomarker is predictive or prognostic, and the trial design may need to account for this.

Aims: Exposure to air pollution including diesel engine exhaust (DEE) is associated with increased risk of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Few studies have investigated the risk of AMI according to occupational exposure to DEE. Background: The Needs Assessment Framework (NAF) stimulates awareness of care staff to consider perspectives of clients with intellectual disabilities in decisions on involuntary care. We explored the effect of implementers' participation in a Virtual Community-of-Practice (VCoP) for designing implementation plans, on NAF implementation and staff awareness.

Method: A quasi-experimental design was used to compare implementation and awareness by care staff (n = 54) between organisations that implemented NAF with VCoP participation (N = 4) and organisations that implemented NAF as usual (N = 3).

This study evaluates the implementation of PACE, an innovative curriculum designed by the physiotherapy department of the HAN University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. Aging towards walkable futures: insights from a multidisciplinary workshop held in Barcelona, Spain.

Background: The aging of the world's population and the increase in sedentary lifestyles are leading to an increase in walking impairments at older ages. Here, we aimed to comprehensively discuss walking in the context of an aging population; and identify and agree on a list of future research priorities and policy actions.

Methods: We followed a participatory approach and held a multidisciplinary two-day workshop on October, 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, with experts in the fields of aging and walking, and participants from the general public.

Methods: Data was extracted from the electronic patient file for patients who received MRI of the head without general anaesthesia between 01-01-2019 and 31-12-2022 at an age younger than 6 months.
