The green transformation of manufacturing companies is of strategic importance for promoting sustainable development, optimising energy structure and improving environmental quality. This article empirically examines the impact of digital trade on the green transformation of manufacturing companies and the role of green technology innovation using panel data of Chinese A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2011 to 2021. The findings are as follows: digital trade significantly accelerates the green transformation of manufacturing companies, and this effect is more obvious in mature companies, highly competitive industries and non-renewable energy companies.

National Engineering Technology Research Center for Preservation of Agricultural Products, Key Laboratory of Storage of Agricultural Products, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Tianjin Key Laboratory of Postharvest Physiology and Storage of Agricultural Products, Tianjin 300384, China.

The green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from biological waste, as well as their excellent antibacterial properties, is currently attracting significant research attention. This study synthesized AgNPs from different mango peel extract concentrations while investigating their characteristics and antibacterial properties. The results showed that the AgNPs were irregular with rod-like, spherical shapes and were detected in a range of 25 nm to 75 nm.

Starch is a basic biomacromolecule, and an in-depth understanding of the process and mechanism of starch-lipid complexation has great significance for starch based food and pharmaceutical. In this study, molecular dynamics simulation was used to explore the complexation details between starch molecules and trilinolenin, such as complexation process, interaction forces, conformation changes and stability changes, which are difficult to be verified by using other characterization methods. The results show that, firstly, starch residues of one turn helix (8 residues) are enough to bind a trilinolenin molecule firmly.

Article Synopsis
  • * Results indicated that HHP reduces intramolecular hydrogen bonds while increasing bonds with the solvent, leading to changes consistent with starch gelatinization.
  • * The findings suggest that HHP alters amylose conformation and stability in a way that contrasts with traditional heating methods, offering new insights for improved starch processing techniques.

The effect of repeated heat-moisture treatment (RHMT) on the structural characteristics of waxy maize starch nanocrystals was investigated. Compared with native waxy maize starch (WMS), waxy maize starch nanocrystals (WMSNs) changed the crystalline pattern from A-type to B-type, and displayed the lower crystallinity (RC), molecular order (MO), enthalpy (∆H) and double-helix (DH) content, indicating a reduction in the long- and short-range orders of starch molecules. Single heat-moisture treatment significantly increased values, including RC, MO, α (power law exponent obtained by SAXS), ∆H, DH, and the melting temperatures (T, T and T), while repeated heat-moisture treatment further increased values of these parameters except ∆H, indicating the reinforcement of the long- and short-range orders of WMSNs.

Starch is an important resource in nature, and HHP (high hydrostatic pressure) is one of the most important physical modification technologies. In this study, molecular dynamics simulation was used to explore the interchain interaction and the changes of molecule conformations of amylopectin and double-amylose helix at atomic level in different pressure. The results shown that, firstly, high pressure increased the content of 4C1 chair conformation, decreased the RMSD (root mean square deviations) and RMSF (root mean square fluctuation), made molecules more stable.

Knowledge of the pressure distribution around human thorax in blast help to understand the injury mechanisms and their assessment. To investigate the transmission mechanism of the pressure on human thorax in blast, a three dimension surface model of human thorax was constructed in this work. To increase the precious of this model, tetrahedron element division method was applied to transfer the rough 3D surface model to hexahedral elements model.
