Copy number variations (CNVs) have become widely acknowledged as a significant source of genomic variability and phenotypic variance. To understand the genetic variants in horses, CNVs from six Indian horse breeds, Manipuri, Zanskari, Bhutia, Spiti, Kathiawari and Marwari were discovered using Axiom Equine Genotyping Array. This study aimed to predict the toughness of date palm fruit (Barhi, Saqie, and Khodry varieties) at different ripening stages (Khalal, Rutab, and Tamar) using Hertz Theory by evaluating the physical and mechanical characteristics of the fruits. Physical measurements revealed that high moisture content in the Khalal stage led to larger dimensions and mass across all varieties, with Barhi dates showing a moisture content of 63.31%, which decreased to 32.

Due to the high cost of raw materials, this work aims to benefit from metal waste, especially iron (Fe) and silicon bronze, which results from turning workshops and recycling them to obtain nanocomposites for industrial applications. In this respect, Fe/SiBr/SiN/silica fume nanocomposites possessing superior mechanical, wear, and magnetic characteristics have been produced using powder metallurgy (PM) technology. The main goal of the current study is to estimate the in vivo anti-inflammatory/antioxidant ability of four selected pharmaceutical compounds: bisoprolol (Biso), piracetam (Pirc), clopidogrel (Clop), and cinnarizine (Cinna). Indomethacin (Indo) was used as a reference drug to perform a realistic comparison between the four compounds and the Indo in vivo through tracking PI3K/AKT signaling and computational chemistry via density functional theory (DFT) modeling to analyze the electrostatic potential across the molecule and provide insight into the regions for receptor binding of the studied compounds. To achieve the safe dose of these compounds, cytotoxicity was performed against isolated adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) using MTT assay.

Excessive irrigation of saline-alkaline soils with Cd-contaminated wastewater has resulted in deterioration of both soil and plant quality. To an investigate this, a study was conducted to explore the effects of biochar (applied at 10 t ha), PGPRs ( (USDA 110) + at 1:1 ratio), and Si-NPs (25 mg L) on soybean plants grown in saline-alkali soil irrigated with wastewater. The results showed that the trio-combination of biochar with PGPRs, (as soil amendments) and Si-NPs (as foliar spraying), was more effective than individual or coupled applications in reducing Cd bioavailability in the soil, minimizing its absorption, translocation and bioconcentration in soybean tissues.

This paper presents the initial results of the synthesis of β-GaO luminescent ceramics via plasma gas-thermal spraying synthesis, where low-temperature plasma of an argon and nitrogen mixture was employed. A direct current electric arc generator of high-enthalpy plasma jet with a self-aligning arc length and an expanding channel of an output electrode served as a plasma source. The feedstock material consisted of a polydisperse powder of monocrystalline β-GaO with particle sizes ranging from 5 to 50 μm.

Bruck syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by increased bone fragility and joint contractures similar to those in arthrogryposis and is known to be associated with mutations in the () and () genes. These genes encode endoplasmic reticulum proteins that play an important role in the biosynthesis of type I collagen, which in turn affects the structure and strength of connective tissues and bones in the body. Mutations are associated with disturbances in both the primary collagen chain and its post-translational formation, but the mechanism by which mutations lead to Bruck syndrome phenotypes has not been determined, not only because of the small number of patients who come to the attention of researchers but also because of the lack of disease models.

Stress protein HSP70 administered exogenously has demonstrated high potential as an efficient adjuvant in antitumor immune response. To enhance the antigen-presenting activity, bioavailability, and stability of exogenous recombinant human HSP70, we propose incorporating it into plant extracellular vesicles.
