In recent years, the optical accelerometer based on the optical trapping force effect has gradually attracted the attention of researchers for its high sensitivity and high measurement accuracy. However, due to its large size and the complexity of optical path adjustment, the optical force accelerometers reported are only suitable for the laboratory environment up to now. In this paper, a miniature optical force dual-axis accelerometer based on the miniature optical system and a particles cavity which is prepared by Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology is proposed.

Background: Cryptochrome is a flavin-binding blue-light photoreceptor that functions in growth and development in plants, the circadian clock in animals and navigation in birds. However, a lack of purified cryptochrome has hindered studies of the structure and function of this protein. In this study, we obtained a substantial amount of the Columbia livia Cryptochrome1 (ClCry1) protein by using a prokaryotic expression system.

Nowadays, our living environment has been embedded with smart objects, such as smart sensors, smart watches and smart phones. They make cyberspace and physical space integrated by their abundant abilities of sensing, communication and computation, forming a cyber-physical integrated network. In order to maximize information diffusion in such a network, a group of objects are selected as the forwarding points.

Background: No gold standard currently exists for the diagnosis of general paresis (GP), thus often resulting in unnecessarily delayed therapeutic decision.
Methods: A retrospective chart review was performed for 85 inpatients with GP in Zhongshan Hospital, Medical College of Xiamen University, and the characteristics of their clinical profiles, serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) examinations, neuroimaging examination, and electroencephalogram (EEG) data were analyzed.
Results: Among the 85 GP patients, the clinical symptoms that were frequently observed upon admission included a variety of psychiatric-behavioral symptoms and varying degrees of cognitive impairment.

We developed a new Boson chemiluminescence immunoassay (CIA) and evaluated its application with cross-sectional analyses. Our results indicated that the Boson CIA demonstrated strong discriminatory power in diagnosing syphilis and that it can be used as a first-line screening test for syphilis serodiagnosis using the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control algorithm or as a confirmatory test when combined with a patient's clinical history.

Background: The prozone phenomenon is known to be associated with high antibody titers; other associations, such as host factors, have not been elucidated.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted to evaluate the incidence of the prozone phenomenon of the syphilis rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test among 46 856 clinical samples, between June 2010 and June 2013. Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of the prozone phenomenon.

This paper presented a fault diagnosis method for key components of satellite, called Anomaly Monitoring Method (AMM), which is made up of state estimation based on Multivariate State Estimation Techniques (MSET) and anomaly detection based on Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT). On the basis of analysis failure of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), we divided the failure of LIBs into internal failure, external failure, and thermal runaway and selected electrolyte resistance (R(e)) and the charge transfer resistance (R(ct)) as the key parameters of state estimation. Then, through the actual in-orbit telemetry data of the key parameters of LIBs, we obtained the actual residual value (R(X)) and healthy residual value (R(L)) of LIBs based on the state estimation of MSET, and then, through the residual values (R(X) and R(L)) of LIBs, we detected the anomaly states based on the anomaly detection of SPRT.

To tackle denosing problems in hyperspectral remote sensing imagery, a three-dimensional hybrid denoising algorithm in derivative domain was proposed. At first, hyperspectral imagery is transformed into spectral derivative domain where the subtle noise level can be elevated. And then in derivative domain, a wavelet based non-linear threshold denoising method, Bayes-Shrink algorithm, is performed in the two-dimensional spacial domain.

To take advantage of the intrinsic characteristic of hyperspectral imageries, a hyperspectral imagery denoising method based on wavelet transform is proposed in the present paper. At first, two dimensional wavelet transform is performed on hyperspectral images band by band to capture their profiles. Due to the significant spectral correlation between adjacent bands, their high frequency wavelet coefficients are similar as well.
