Civic Identity and Mental Health in Russia: The Role of Psychological Coping Strategies During Sanctions and Perceived Threat.

We explore the role of Russian civic identity in maintaining mental health in a challenging socioeconomic and political environment. The study was conducted on a sample of Russians in August 2022 after the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine and the imposition of multiple sanctions on Russia. The sample included 384 respondents from 18 to 54 years old.

Difluoroboron Complexes as Versatile Precursors for Steroid Modification. Lumiestrone-Based Steroid Derivatives: Synthesis and Structural Studies.

A preparation method for steroid-based difluoroboron complexes has been developed using lumiestrone as a steroid example. Previously inaccessible lumiestrone-based difluoroboron complexes annulated at positions 16 and 17 of the D ring have been prepared. Charge-compensated -carborane derivatives in the synthesis of iron(II) bis(dicarbollide) complexes.

A series of stable iron(II) bis(dicarbollide) derivatives [8,8'-(RNHC(Et)HN)-3,3'-Fe(1,2-CBH)] (R = Pr, R = Ph, (CH)OH, (CH)OH, (CH)NMe) was prepared starting from FeCl or [FeCl(dppe)] and the corresponding -carboranyl amidines [10-RNHC(Et)HN-7,8-CBH]. In a similar way, the reactions of the oxonium derivatives of -carborane with FeCl in tetrahydrofuran in the presence of -BuOK lead to the corresponding stable oxonium derivatives iron(II) bis(dicarbollide) [8,8'-(RR'O)-3,3'-Fe(1,2-CBH)] (RR' = (CH), (CH)O(CH), (CH); R = R' = Et), which can be alternatively prepared by the reaction of the parent iron(II) bis(dicarbollide) with tetrahydrofuran or 1,4-dioxane in the presence of MeSO. The cyclic voltammetry studies of the synthesized iron(II) bis(dicarbollide) derivatives revealed that the introduction of amidinium and oxonium substituents leads to a significant increase in the Fe/Fe redox potential relative to the parent iron(II) bis(dicarbollide).

Tridentate Nitrogen Ligand as a Tool for the Construction of Well-Defined Rare Earth Trichloride Complexes.

LnCl(THF) (Ln = Y, La ÷ Nd, Sm ÷ Lu) readily react with the tridentate 1,3,5-trimethyl-1,3,5-triazacyclohexane (Metach) ligand to form mono- or binuclear lanthanide trichloride complexes, depending on the stoichiometry of the reaction and the ionic radius of the metal: mononuclear pseudosandwich [LnCl(Metach)], (Ln = Y, La ÷ Ho) or binuclear complexes [LnCl(Metach)], or [LnCl(Metach)(THF)] (Ln = Sm, Tb). Detailed analysis of the NMR data of [LnCl(Metach)] complexes with paramagnetic lanthanide ions showed that their structures remained unchanged in the toluene solution. A series of isomorphous complexes [LnCl(Metach)(Py)] (Ln = La, Sm, Tb, Er, Lu; Py = pyridine) have been obtained by the recrystallization of either mononuclear or binuclear complexes from pyridine.

The low coherence intervals indicate the diversification potential of commodity investments during a systemic pandemic such as Covid-19.

This paper analyses the influence of the Covid-19 coverage by the social media upon the shape of the sovereign yield curves of the five major developing countries, namely Federative Republic of B razil, Russian Federation, Republic of India, People's Republic of China, and the Republic of South Africa (BRICS). The coherenc e between the level, slope, and the curvature of the sovereign yield term structures and the Covid-19 medi a coverage is found to vary between low and high ranges, depending on the phases of the pandemic. The Role of Personal and Political Values in Predicting Environmental Attitudes and Pro-environmental Behavior in Kazakhstan.

Although it is widely accepted that personal values of Self-Transcendence are a positive predictor of environmentalism, and Self-Enhancement values are a negative one, these results are not conclusive for all cultural contexts. Regarding political ideologies, research concludes that liberals tend to be more concerned about the environment than conservatives. However, this two-dimensional take on political ideologies does not grasp the diversity of political views, which could be achieved by focusing on political values.
