Objective: To determine the factors influencing the life satisfaction of people with physical disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, considering demographics, disability-related characteristics, health behaviors, and psychosocial characteristics.

Methods: We used cross-sectional data from 301 respondents of the 2021/2022 survey of the Korean Health Cohort Study for People with Physical Disabilities. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the research subjects' characteristics, and chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression were used to identify the determinants of life satisfaction.

Overall, 24 participants with cognitive impairment secondary to a first-ever ABI underwent VR-MAT and conventional cognitive training (CCT) 3 months after onset. Phonological knowledge plays a pivotal role in many aspects of language processing, but it remains controversial whether it is required for writing. In the present study, we examined the issue by focusing on written production in an opaque logographic script (kanji) with highly irregular pronunciation rules, which allowed for a rigorous test of whether or not phonology contributes to writing. Terrestrial animals not only need to walk and run but also lie prone to rest and then stand up. Sit-to-stand (STS) and sit-to-walk (STW) transitions are vital behaviours little studied in species other than humans so far, but likely impose biomechanical constraints on limb design because they involve near-maximal excursions of limb joints that should require large length changes and force production from muscles. Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis is an extremely rare disorder characterized by congenital generalized loss of pain and thermal sensation, decreased sweating, intellectual disability, and self-mutilating behavior. Skeletal complications can develop even after minor trauma or an unknown cause, and management is difficult and sometimes unsuccessful, leading to the development of Charcot joints.
