Background: Oral cancer (OC) is a multifactorial disease that affects the oral cavity. The mortality rate is approximately 50 % and a high percentage of patients are diagnosed in advanced stages. Early diagnosis has been well demonstrated to improve overall survival, mainly when detected at a localized stage.

Background And Objectives: Body composition (BC) assessment in cirrhosis has a wide variety of methods with no consensus on the best tools for each body component in patients with Liver Cirrhosis (LC). We aimed to conduct a systematic scoping review of the most frequent body composition analysis methods and nutritional findings published in liver cirrhosis patients.
Methods: We searched for articles in PubMed, Scopus, and ISI Web of Science databases.

Since the ancient Egyptians, people have always been worried about their physical appearance. Nowadays, for some cultures like Latin American, physical appearance depends on the context, and the concept of beauty is to have wider hips and more prominent buttocks. One way to achieve these goals is to inject foreign modelants that include some oils to modify certain body regions.

Despite the dynamic progress of modern medicine, oncological and cardiovascular diseases (CVD) remain a severe economic burden worldwide. Therefore, the study of chemotherapeutic cardiotoxicity appears to be comprehensively demanded. Nowadays, pharmacological therapy in oncology has undoubtedly unprecedented development, but at the same time, the rates of cardiovascular complications of chemotherapy still remain unchanged.

Imaging of the postoperative spine requires the identification of several critical points by the radiologist to be written in the medical report: condition of the underlying cortical and cancellous bone, intervertebral disc, and musculoskeletal tissues; location and integrity of surgical implants; evaluation of the success of decompression procedures; delineation of fusion status; and identification of complications. This article presents a pictorial narrative review of the most common findings observed in and postoperative spines. Complications in the spine were grouped in (hematomas, pseudomeningocele, and postoperative spine infection) and findings (arachnoiditis, radiculitis, recurrent disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and textiloma).

Introduction: Combination antihypertensive therapy is required by most patients to achieve guideline-recommended blood pressure (BP) goals. This study assessed the effectiveness and tolerability of bisoprolol/perindopril (Bis/Per) single-pill combination (SPC) in Russian patients with hypertension and coronary artery disease (CAD) treated in routine clinical practice.
Methods: STYLE (NCT03730116) was an open-label, uncontrolled, prospective observational study conducted in patients who were already receiving Bis/Per SPC, switched to SPC from Bis or Per monotherapy, or switched from a free combination of Bis and Per.
The article presents published and own data about Takotsubo syndrome, a relatively rare heart disease that is similar to acute coronary syndrome, but without significant damage of coronary arteries. The leading pathogenetic factor is the catecholamine-induced stress damage of myocardium with involvement of microvessels. There is a certain underestimation of Takotsubo syndrome by both clinicians and pathologists, so some cases of Takotsubo syndrome are misdiagnosed as acute coronary syndrome.

This method is highly sensitive in detecting coronary atherosclerosis. However, standard CTA does not allow evaluation of the hemodynamic significance of found CA stenoses, which requires additional functional tests for detection of myocardial ischemia.

Using the example of specific studies, the difference between the methods and the tasks, for the solution of which one or another method should be applied, are shown. In order to prove the superiority in efficacy and safety of a new drug over an existing one, only a statistical approach that uses the "superiority" hypothesis is applicable.

Background: Across the globe, diseases secondary to environmental exposures have been described, and it was also found that existing diseases have been modified by exposure to environmental chemicals or an environmental factor that has been found in their pathogenesis. The Institute of Medicine has shared a permanent concern related to the nations environmental health capacity since 1988.
Main Body: Contemporary imaging methods in the last 15 years started reporting alterations in different human systems such as the central nervous system, cardiovascular system and pulmonary system among others; evidence suggests the existence of a human environmental disease network.
Aim: to assess the diagnostic meaning of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) in various clinical forms of myocarditis.
Materials And Methods: 11 (8 men, mean age 32.8±11.

Cell lines represent convenient models to elucidate specific causes of multigenetic and pluricausal diseases, to test breakthrough regenerative technologies. Most commonly used cell lines surpass diploid cells in their accessibility for delivery of large DNA molecules and genome editing, but the main obstacles for obtaining cell models with knockout-targeted protein from aneuploid cells are multiple allele copies and karyotype/phenotype heterogeneity. In the study, we report an original approach to CRISPR-/Cas9-mediated genome modification of aneuploid cell cultures to create functional cell models, achieving highly efficient targeted protein knockout and avoiding "clonal effect" (for the first time to our knowledge).

Aim: The purpose of the study is to prove the effectiveness of pharmacological preconditioning caused by nicorandil in patients with stable coronary heart disease (CHD) during the elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Materials And Methods: We included 88 patients with a stable form of CHD, who were going to pass the elective PCI, in the study. As the method of blind randomization envelope method was used.

Aim: The purpose of this study lied in the examination of the clinical characteristics and assessment of the quality of treatment for patients with arterial hypertension (AH) with obesity according to the National Registry of the AH.
Materials And Methods: The frequency of obesity in a sample of patients with AH, observed in 2010-2016. in polyclinics and cardiological dispensaries for cardiovascular diseases (CVD), was 38.
Arterial hypertension (AH) refers to the most common cardiovascular diseases. The expert community regularly creates recommendations on the definition, diagnostics and treatment of hypertension. The most significant documents are recommendations American Medical Societies and the European Society for Hygiene in association with the European cardiological society.

Phylogenetic theory of general pathology draws researchers' attention to the following aspects of the biological effects of insulin. 1. Phylogenetically, in vivo insulin is primarily involved in the metabolism of fatty acids (FA) and only in the second turn in glucose metabolism; regulation of FA metabolism in cells started millions of years earlier than that of glucose metabolism.

The in vivo roles of pericyte contractile sphincters, smooth muscle cells, endothelial monolayer, precapillary muscle arterioles, exchange and volume capillaries in the physiological balance between peripheral blood pool and the blood pool volume in the distal arterial bed are not fully understood. However, it is highly probable that: 1. There is no primary arterial hypertension.
