The systematization of literature data on the use of β-adrenoblockers in patients with heart failure and concomitant thyroid pathology was carried out, and the results of our own study were presented. It has been suggested that the final chapter in the history of the use of β-adrenoblockers in patients with heart failure with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction and thyroid pathology has not yet been written. Further studies are needed, including pharmacogenetic ones.

The article highlights the results of the study of the influence of osteopontin on the development of pulmonary hypertension in patients with COPD in combination with IHD. 121 patients with established diagnosis of COPD and IHD were randomized for the study, all patients underwent general clinical examination, spirography, ECG to determine the level of pulmonary artery pressure, a questionnaire according to the Borg and mMRC scales, and a 6-minute walk test. All patients were divided into 2 groups: group 1 (63 people) with the increased PA pressure, group 2 - comparison group - without PH (58 people).

Background: The goal of the study was to assess the state of coronary arteries in perimenopausal women undergoing examination before prescription of hormonal replacement therapy.
