This randomized controlled trial (RCT) investigated the efficacy of a multi-domain lifestyle modification program in alleviating menopausal symptoms and promoting health behaviors among postmenopausal women residing in urban slums of Hyderabad, India.

Methods: Eighty-two women aged 45-60 years experiencing menopausal symptoms were recruited.

A pilot study for treatment of COVID-19 patients in moderate stage using intravenous administration of ozonized saline as an adjuvant treatment-registered clinical trial.

Objective: Ozone therapy has tremendous therapeutic potential owing to its antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and potential to improve oxygenation. A pilot clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy ofintravenous ozonised saline treatment in patients with moderate COVID-19 pneumonia.

Patients And Methods: 10 patients were administered 200 ml freshly prepared ozonised saline intravenously over 1 h once a day for 8 days along with standard medical treatment.

In this report, we make reference to seven participants diagnosed with HIV, who underwent naturopathy and yoga based lifestyle intervention (NYLI), for varying durations, at a sanatorium for PLWHA.

Immediate effect of bitter gourd, ash gourd, Knol-khol juices on blood sugar levels of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: A pilot study.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the immediate effect of bitter gourd, Knol-khol, and ash gourd juices on blood glucose level among Type II diabetes mellitus patients.

Methods: In 2015, pilot study was conducted randomly enrolling 30 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus into three groups in SRK college, India. The first group received bitter gourd juice at FBS range between 120 to 300 mg per dl.

Alternate hot and cold application in the management of heel pain: A pilot study.

Background: Despite a long-standing tradition of naturopathic physical therapy and hydrotherapy use in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, neither naturopathy, nor specific aspects of hydrotherapy have been tested for efficacy in the treatment of heel pain.

Methods: Patients (n=20) were assigned to standard naturopathic physiotherapy care (NPC) with two adjuvant therapy groups: a control group (therapeutic ultrasound, n=10), or alternating compresses (n=10). Pain scores were measured before and after treatment using Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and foot functionality was measured using the Foot Function Index (FFI).

Integrating yoga therapy in the management of urinary incontinence: a case report.

A 63-year-old overweight female prediagnosed of stress urinary incontinence presented with exacerbated events of urine leakage. She was advised a residential lifestyle and behavioral program, primarily consisting of a monitored yoga therapy module, apart from her ongoing anticholinergic medicine, for 21 days. Assessments were based on a frequency volume chart, a bladder diary for the entire duration of treatment, and the International Consultation on Incontinence Modular Questionnaire-Urinary Incontinence Short Form questionnaire on the days of admission and discharge.

Effect of electroacupuncture on function and quality of life in Parkinson's disease: a case report.

A 56-year-old man diagnosed in 2003 as having Hoehn & Yahr stage III Parkinson's disease (PD) came to our clinic in 2012 with slurred speech, right-sided bradykinesia, erectile dysfunction, rigidity, emotional instability and depression. His PD showed progressive signs with postural instability, moderate bilateral signs, and he rated 80% on the Schwab & England Activities of Daily Living Scale. A modified protocol of electroacupuncture was administered for a period of 5 weeks, six times per week, with each session lasting for 30 min.
