Abstract: This study aims to identify issues plaguing rural India's water supply chain and present a general methodology for the implementation of an IoT-based water distribution and management system in a rural setting. Through the literature review, significant hurdles in the water supply chain of rural India, as well as the potential role of IoT in water supply chain management, were recognized. An implementation plan was proposed to design an IoT-based water distribution and management system with the help of flow meters, ultrasonic sensors, motors, etc.

Stakeholder engagement for innovation management and entrepreneurial development: A meta-analysis.

This paper reviews contemporary studies in entrepreneurship literature related to innovation management (IM), stakeholder engagement (SE), and entrepreneurial development (ED), using bibliometric techniques and longitudinal statistical analysis of 1059 articles published in the (JBR) and other relevant business and management journals indexed in Scopus from 1974 until July 2020. We have employed a structured literature review and meta-analysis to explore the emerging research patterns in prospective observational studies encompassing the field of ED, SE, and IM. Our findings suggest that dynamics of the interaction of SE, IM, and ED are shaping the scholarship of academic research in entrepreneurship.

Valuing health damages due to groundwater arsenic contamination in Bihar, India.

This paper estimates the health damages due to arsenicosis among people residing in two districts of Bihar, India. A primary survey of 388 households' comprises 3469 individuals from two arsenic-contaminated districts namely Patna and Bhojpur from Bihar was conducted to collect the data. Arsenic field test kits was used to test the arsenic level in drinking water of the sample households.

Performance evaluation of a decentralized wastewater treatment system in India.

A Decentralized Wastewater Treatment System (DEWATS) provides an economically feasible and efficient wastewater treatment solution especially in developing countries. It has an enormous potential for developing a sustainable environmental sanitation system. In this study, the treatment efficiency of eight DEWATS plants was evaluated in the state of Maharashtra, India, for their performance in terms of selected physico-chemical parameters of the wastewater.

Environmental and economic performance evaluation of municipal wastewater treatment plants in India: a life cycle approach.

Life cycle assessment (LCA) was used to evaluate the environmental impacts associated with wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Moreover, an economic evaluation was also addressed using life cycle cost (LCC) approach. Emissions associated with electricity production for operating the WWTPs, emissions from the treated effluent and hazardous heavy metals emissions have been identified as the main contributors to the overall environmental impact.

The objective of this research is to identify critical success factors (CSFs) of the reusable plastic packaging (RPP) system and to establish their interrelationship in the context of manufacturing industries. Fourteen CSFs were shortlisted by reviewing the literature and considering expert team inputs. To explore the mutual influence between the identified CSFs the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach was applied.

Pricing of stents is being questioned by healthcare stakeholders due to large differences in price of its product types and its variation across different markets. The stent pricing literature published during 1997-2017 were reviewed besides inputs from industry experts to identify initial key pricing drivers. Interpretive structural modeling was used to build priority for checking the price rise in emerging markets like India.

Moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) is a highly effective biological treatment process applied to treat both urban and industrial wastewaters in developing countries. The present study investigated the technical performance of ten full-scale MBBR systems located across India. The biochemical oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, total suspended solid, pathogens, and nutrient removal efficiencies were low as compared to the values claimed in literature.

Soil biotechnology (SBT) is a green engineering approach for wastewater treatment and recycling. Five SBT units located in the Mumbai region were under consideration of which holistic assessment of two SBT plants was carried out considering its technical, environmental and economic aspects and was compared with published research of other three. LCA has been done to evaluate the environmental impacts of construction and operation phase of SBT.
