Tunable radar stealth structures are critical components for future military equipment because of their potential to further enhance the design space and performance. Some previous investigations have utilized simple origami structures as the basic adjusting components but failed to achieve the desired broadband microwave absorbing characteristic. Herein, a novel double-broadband switchable microwave absorbing grid structure has been developed with the actuators of inflatable Kresling origami structures.

Simultaneously adding multiple drugs and other chemical reagents to individual droplets at specific time points presents a significant challenge, particularly when dealing with tiny droplets in high-throughput screening applications. In this study, a micropatterned polymer chip is developed as a miniaturized platform for light-induced programmable drug addition in cell-based screening. This chip incorporates a porous superhydrophobic polymer film with atom transfer radical polymerization reactivity, facilitating the efficient grafting of azobenzene methacrylate, a photoconformationally changeable group, onto the hydrophilic regions of polymer matrix at targeted locations and with precise densities.

The constant drive to achieve higher performance in deep neural networks (DNNs) has led to the proliferation of very large models. Model training, however, requires intensive computation time and energy. Memristor-based compute-in-memory (CIM) modules can perform vector-matrix multiplication (VMM) in place and in parallel, and have shown great promises in DNN inference applications.

The increasing demand for end-to-end low-latency and high-reliability transmissions between edge computing nodes and user elements in 5G Advance edge networks has brought new challenges to the transmission of data. In response, this paper proposes LERMS, a packet-level encoding transmission scheme designed for untrusted 5GA edge networks that may encounter malicious transmission situations such as data tampering, discarding, and eavesdropping. LERMS achieves resiliency against such attacks by using 5GA Protocol data unit (PDU) coded Concurrent Multipath Transfer (CMT) based on Lagrangian interpolation and Raptor's two-layer coding, which provides redundancy to eliminate the impact of an attacker's malicious behavior.

It is currently not well known how necroptosis and necroptosis responses manifest in vivo. Here, we uncovered a molecular switch facilitating reprogramming between two alternative modes of necroptosis signaling in hepatocytes, fundamentally affecting immune responses and hepatocarcinogenesis. Concomitant necrosome and NF-κB activation in hepatocytes, which physiologically express low concentrations of receptor-interacting kinase 3 (RIPK3), did not lead to immediate cell death but forced them into a prolonged "sublethal" state with leaky membranes, functioning as secretory cells that released specific chemokines including CCL20 and MCP-1.

In recent years, chaotic synchronization has received a lot of interest in applications in different fields, including in the design of private and secure communication systems. The purpose of this paper was to achieve the synchronization of the Méndez-Arellano-Cruz-Martínez (MACM) 3D chaotic system coupled in star topology. The MACM electronic circuit is used as chaotic nodes in the communication channels to achieve synchronization in the proposed star network; the corresponding electrical hardware in the slave stages receives the coupling signal from the master node.

Multimodal self-sustainable autonomous locomotions integrated into one individual system, are high-level intelligent behavioral characteristics of living organisms and are the scientific hotspot of bionic soft actuators. Here, we report a light-fueled soft actuator with multimodal self-sustainable movements based on a Seifert ribbon bounded by a Hopf link. The Seifert ribbon actuator can self-sense the illumination area adjustment, and the actuation component becomes either a discontinuous strip-like structure or a continuous toroidal structure, which can realize adaptive switches between self-sustained oscillatory and rotary motions.

In this paper, a high-accuracy localization problem under a complex non-line-of-sight (NLOS) condition is addressed by a new method that utilizes multiple NLOS paths to improve localization accuracy, as opposed to the traditional method of suppressing them. The spatial multi-path array fusion localization model is presented and analyzed, followed by an angle-of-arrival (AOA) and time-of-arrival (TOA) algorithm based on spatial multi-information fusion that seeks to improve localization accuracy. Multi-path of spatial signals, measurement of the multi-element antenna, and geographic environment information are integrated into the proposed method for localization optimization.

To realize high-performance line of sight (LOS) stabilization control of the optronic mast under high oceanic conditions and big swaying movements of platforms, a composite control method based on an adaptive radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) and sliding mode control (SMC) is proposed. The adaptive RBFNN is used to approximate the nonlinear and parameter-varying ideal model of the optronic mast, so as to compensate for the uncertainties of the system and reduce the big-amplitude chattering phenomenon caused by excessive switching gain in SMC. The adaptive RBFNN is constructed and optimized online based on the state error information in the working process; therefore, no prior training data are required.

Link prediction aims at predicting missing or potential links based on the known information of complex networks. Most existing methods focus on pairwise low-order relationships while ignoring the high-order interaction and the rich attribute information of entities in the actual network, leading to the low performance of the model in link prediction. To mine the cross-modality interactions between the high-order structure and attributes of the network, this paper proposes a hypernetwork link prediction method for fusion topology and attributes (TA-HLP).

Facing the untrusted threats of network elements and PKI/CA faced by SR-BE/TE (Segment Routing-BE/TE) data plane in the zero-trust network environment, firstly, this paper refines it into eight specific security issues. Secondly, an SR-BE/TE data plane security model ZbSR (ZTA-based SR) based on zero-trust architecture is proposed, which reconstructs the original SR control plane into a "trust-agent" two-layer plane based on 4 components of the controller, agent, cryptographic center and information base. On one hand, we distinguish between the two segment list generation modes and proposes corresponding data exchange security algorithms, by introducing north-south security verification based on identity authentication, trust evaluation, and key agreement before the terminal device establishes an east-west access connection, so reliable data exchange between terminal devices can be realized.

In soft devices, complex actuation sequences and precise force control typically require hard electronic valves and microcontrollers. Existing designs for entirely soft pneumatic control systems are capable of either digital or analog operation, but not both, and are limited by speed of actuation, range of pressure, time required for fabrication, or loss of power through pull-down resistors. Using the nonlinear mechanics intrinsic to structures composed of soft materials-in this case, by leveraging membrane inversion and tube kinking-two modular soft components are developed: a piston actuator and a bistable pneumatic switch.
