Presentation and management outcome of inflammatory bowel disease in Sudan.

This is a retrospective study conducted at the National Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver disease in Khartoum, Sudan on patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) during the period between January 1990 and May 2001. The study was conducted to determine the pattern of presentation and management outcome of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) among Sudanese patients. All patients underwent a colonoscopy/ sigmoidoscopy with histopathological diagnosis, or a barium study.
