Utilizing renewable energy is a necessity for accomplishing global agendas, including combating climate change and promoting sustainable development programs. Although much literature has investigated the nexus between energy sources and their affected regressors during the last few years, no appreciable emphasis is available in the previous studies respecting the influence of the energy trilemma index and economic expansion on the influence of the energy trilemma index and economic the renewables in N11 economies. Therefore, the current study analyzes the crucial influencing factors, including the energy trilemma, economic growth, economic complexity, financial development, and urban population, as drivers of renewable energy in N11 economics from 1990 to 2021 by utilizing a panel quantile regression approach.

The tricarbonylrhenium complexes that incorporate a mesoionic carbene ligand represent an emerging and promising class of molecules, the solid-state optical properties of which have rarely been investigated. The aim of this comprehensive study is to compare three of these complexes with their 1,2,3-triazole-based analogues. The Hirshfeld surface analysis of the crystallographic data revealed that the triazolylidene derivatives are more prone to π-π interactions than their 1,2,3-triazole-based counterparts.

A comprehensive investigation into the green synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles (NPs) has garnered significant attention due to its commendable reliability, sustainability, and environmentally friendly attributes. Green synthesis methods play a crucial role in mitigating the adverse effects associated with conventional approaches employed for nanostructure preparation. This research endeavors to examine the impact of ginger plant extract-assisted green synthesis of metal oxides NPs on the serum ferritin levels of anemic diabetic patients in vitro, focusing specifically on α-FeO and ZnO NPs.

Purpose: Over the last few years, the green economy (GE) notion has been realized as a key tool for achieving sustainable development (SD) in both developing and developed nations. Therefore, the current study tries to investigate the role of GE in achieving SD in developing countries. Through empirically examining the relationship between the GE and three different dependent variables which are GDP per capita, total unemployment rate, and poverty level, using cross-sectional data for 60 developing countries in 2018.

We report the synthesis of covalent conjugates of nanodiamonds with doxorubicin and a cytostatic drug from the class of 1,3,5-triazines. The obtained conjugates were identified using a number of physicochemical methods (IR-spectroscopy, NMR-spectroscopy, XRD, XPS, TEM). As a result of our study, it was found that ND-СONH-Dox and ND-COO-Diox showed good hemocompatibility, since they did not affect plasma coagulation hemostasis, platelet functional activity, and erythrocyte membrane.

Addressing extensive global goals including growing energy-sourced electricity and advancing sustainable development plans strongly depends on natural gas as a transition fuel to renewable forms of energy. Therefore, by using pooled, random, and fixed-effects models, the current study investigates the effects of electricity sourced from natural gas (ENG), renewable energy (RE), and trade in information and communication technologies (ICTs) on economic growth and carbon dioxide (CO) emissions in Africa's top three natural gas producers, Algeria, Egypt, and Nigeria, from 1990 to 2020. The findings indicate that CO, ENG, ICT trade, and urbanization (UP) are all strongly and positively correlated to economic progress, with the exception of RE, which has an insignificant influence.

Emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants warrants sustainable efforts to upgrade both the diagnostic and therapeutic protocols. Understanding the details of cellular and molecular basis of the virus-host cell interaction is essential for developing variant-independent therapeutic options. The internalization of SARS-CoV-2, into lung epithelial cells, is mediated by endocytosis, especially clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME).

Expanding of complex global supply chains enhances the role of global trade in the deterioration of the environment by production redeployment across nations, which is tightly connected to emission transmission or the carbon trade balance. Although much earlier studies have assessed the link between emissions of carbon dioxide (CO) and their influenced variables in the past few years, no substantial attention is available in the literature review concerning the influence of carbon trade balance on the environment in N11 economies. Therefore, via economic progress, renewable/fossil energies consumption, financial development, and urbanization growth as control variables, the influence of the carbon trade balance on emissions of CO in N11 countries is explored from 1990 to 2020.

Two new water-soluble thiadiazole compounds are prepared and characterized with various techniques. These compounds, 5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole hydrochloride (1) and 5-amino-3-(N-propane-2-imine)-1,3,4-thiadiazole chloride salt (2) were synthesized via Mannich reaction, and characterized by microelemental analysis, and some spectroscopic means (FTIR, UV-Vis, H NMR, C NMR and mass), in addition to single-crystal X-ray diffraction for compound 2. DFT calculations were conducted to study their geometry optimization, vibrational spectra, MEP maps, and NBO analysis.

The article is dedicated to the comprehensive biocompatibility investigation of synthesised graphene oxide (GO) enriched with oxygen-containing functional groups (⁓85%). GO was synthesised through a modified Hummers and Offeman's method and characterised using C NMR, Raman, and IR spectroscopy, XRD, HRTEM, along with size dimensions and ζ-potentials in aqueous dispersions. Biocompatibility study included tests on haemocompatibility (haemolysis, platelet aggregation, binding to human serum albumin and its esterase activity), antioxidant activity (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl reaction, NO-radical uptake, Radachlorin photobleaching, photo-induced haemolysis), genotoxicity using DNA comet assay, as well as metabolic activity and proliferation of HEK293 cells.

We present a new modification of graphene oxide with very high content (85 wt %) of oxygen-containing functional groups (hydroxy, epoxy, lactol, carboxyl, and carbonyl groups) that forms stable aqueous dispersion in up to 9 g·L concentration solutions. A novel faster method of the synthesis is described that produces up to 1 kg of the material and allows controlling the particle size in solution. The synthesized compound was characterized by various physicochemical methods and molecular dynamics modeling, revealing a unique structure in the form of a multilayered wafer of several sheets thick, where each sheet is highly corrugated.

A simple, accurate and fast spectrophotometric method for the quantitative determination of melatonin (ML) drug in its pure and pharmaceutical forms was developed based on the formation of its charge transfer complex with 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ) as an electron acceptor. The different conditions for this method were optimized accurately. The Lambert-Beer's law was found to be valid over the concentration range of 4-100μgmL ML.

The alteration of peripheral blood T-and B-lymphocyte proliferative responses were determined during different periods of withdrawal in heroin (Hw) and heroin / bhang (HBw) addicts. The results clearly demonstrated a significant decrease in the response of T- lymphocytes to PHA-stimulation and secretion of IL-2 in both Hw and HBw addicts. The in vitro presence of naloxone induced further inhibition of the PHA proliferative response and IL-2 production.

Drug activity depends on both the fine as well as the gross structure of the molecule. In this work, the properties of the molecule that are dependent on its fine structure such as: dipole moment, ionization potential and energies of the HOMO and LUMO were calculated for the optimized geometry of some drugs using Ab initio method and the GAMESS program. At physiological pH, the amine part of the drug would be partially protonated, the calculations were carried out on both the charged and the free base forms.
