The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the KNCSP in reducing CRC-specific mortality.

Purpose: Gastric cancer (GC) prediction models hold potential for enhancing early detection by enabling the identification of high-risk individuals, facilitating personalized risk-based screening, and optimizing the allocation of healthcare resources.
Materials And Methods: In this study, we developed a machine learning-based GC prediction model utilizing data from the Korean National Health Insurance Service, encompassing 10,515,949 adults who had not been diagnosed with GC and underwent GC screening during 2013-2014, with a follow-up period of at least five years. The cohort was divided into training and test datasets at an 8:2 ratio, and class imbalance was mitigated through random oversampling.
Background: Sedentary behavior elevates cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk in patients with dyslipidemia. Increasing physical activity (PA) is recommended alongside pharmacological therapy to prevent CVD, though benefits across environmental conditions are unclear.
Methods And Results: We analyzed data from 113 918 newly diagnosed patients with dyslipidemia (2009-2012) without prior CVD, sourced from the Korea National Health Insurance Service.

The BRCA1/2 pathogenic variant (PV) increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancer; thus, risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO) and mastectomy (RRM) are recommended. We evaluated the effects of the graphical display of cancer risk compared with those of numerical presentation on the decision-making for risk-reducing (RR) surgery. A total of 471 women representing the Korean population were recruited.
