The aim of this study was to evaluate the characteristics and prognostic value of the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in patients with severe burns. A retrospective study was conducted on 245 burn patients over 18 years old without comorbidity or combined injury, burn extent ≥20% TBSA, hospitalized within 24 hours after burn. Purposes: Upper sunken eyelids, which are characterized by the hollowness of the upper eyelids, often cause a poor aesthetic appearance. Herein, we present a simplified technique using fascia-fat grafts for volume augmentation combined with blepharoplasty as a single-stage procedure.
Methods: From January 2021 to December 2021, 30 patients with sunken eyelids visiting our clinic for hollow eyelid treatment underwent a fascia-fat grafting derived from the inguinal crease combined with simultaneous eyelid reconstruction.

The present study was designed to comprehensively observe the canine uterine anatomy and to examine the possibility of using a living canine donor for uterine transplantation training and further research.
Methods: Ten female Vietnamese mixed-breed dogs were sacrificed for anatomical research, and 15 additional pairs were used to evaluate the novel uterine transplant model.

Background: Soft-tissue defects in the hand and digits can be effectively covered by using the free superficial palmar branch of the radial artery (SPBRA) flap, which is harvested from the radial volar wrist. Because previous anatomical studies on this flap are limited, multidetector-row computed tomographic angiography of the upper limbs was conducted to characterize the three-dimensional anatomical structure of the SPBRA and its perforators in living patients.
