We are interested in the amplification of very low voltages produced by solar cells during sunset or weak sunshine. The study uses a device consisting of a Duffing oscillator, which amplifies and automatically regulates a low-voltage input, an inverter that reverses the negative voltage of one of the outputs of the oscillator, and a summing device to add the voltages of the two oscillator outputs. Experimental and theoretical investigations are conducted, and it is observed from the results that the output voltage can reach to 7.

This paper focuses on simple technique from conventional techniques for the rapid maximum power point (MPP) pursuit with a less oscillations under sudden changes. In investigations, the controllability of the conventional boost converter model shows that the converter can be controlled from the current of its inductance (inductor). To get reference current, a conventional technique known as method of short-circuit current has been transformed to clearly establish with supporting evidence an estimated photocurrent.

Cancer is a disease that causes many deaths worldwide. The treatment of cancer is first and foremost a matter of detection, a treatment that is most effective when the disease is detected at an early stage. With the evolution of technology, several computer-aided diagnosis tools have been developed around cancer; several image-based cancer detection methods have been developed too.

Multiscale modelling is a promising quantitative approach for studying infectious disease dynamics. This approach garners attention from both individuals who model diseases and those who plan for public health because it has great potential to contribute in expanding the understanding necessary for managing, reducing, and potentially exterminating infectious diseases. In this article, we developed a nested multiscale model of hepatitis B virus (HBV) that integrates the within-cell scale and the between-cell scale at cell level of organization of this disease system.

There are many problems related to the use of machine learning and machine vision technology on a commercial scale for cutting sugarcane seeds. These obstacles are related to complex systems and the way the farmers operate them, the possibility of damage to the buds during the cleaning process, and the high cost of such technology. In order to address these issues, a set of RGB color sensors was used to develop an automated sugarcane seed cutting machine (ASSCM) capable of identifying the buds that had been manually marked with a unique color and then cutting them mechanically, and the sugarcane seed exit chute was provided with a sugarcane seed monitoring unit.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how a tracking indirect solar dryer (SD) powered by photovoltaic cells affected the drying kinetics (DK) and thermo-environmental conditions of tomato slices. In this current investigation, three air speeds (1, 1.5, and 2 m/s) are used, as well as three slice thicknesses (ST) (4, 6, and 8 mm) and two SD, one of which is integrated with fixed collector motion (FCM) and another with SD tracking collector motion (TCM).

Environmental pollution resulting from the use of pesticides such as fenuron poses significant health risks due to the carcinogenic and teratogenic properties of these compounds. There is an urgent need to develop rapid and cost-effective detection methods for quantifying fenuron. In this study, an inorganic-organic composite material was obtained by intercalating sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate (DSS) within the interlayer space of a nickel-aluminum-layered double hydroxide (NiAl-LDH).

In this paper, we investigate the effects of spin-transfer torques within the ferromagnetic infinite medium through the short-wave approximation method. As a result, we have derived the new (1+1) dimensional nonlinear evolution system, which describes the propagation of electromagnetic short waves within the ferromagnet in the presence of electric current density. Using the Painlevé analysis and Hirota's bilinearization, we unearth the integrability properties of this new evolution system.

This paper introduces an enhancement to the Chen chaotic system by incorporating a constant perturbation term to one of the state variables, aiming to improve the performance of pseudo-random number generators (PRNGs). The perturbation significantly enhances the system's chaotic properties, resulting in superior randomness and increased security. An FPGA-based realization of a perturbed Chen oscillator (PCO)-derived PRNG is presented, tailored for embedded cryptosystems and implemented on a Nexys 4 FPGA card featuring the XILINX Artix-7 XC7A100T-1CSG324C integrated chip.

This article presents the contribution of multicellular converters in improving of the quality of power produced in photovoltaic chain, with the aim of exploiting the maximum power produced by the photovoltaic generator with low oscillations around of the maximum power point (MPP) at steady state and to reduce switching losses. After modeling the multicellular parallel boost converter, fractional short circuit current (FSCC) MPPT was modified to get an estimated photocurrent as a reference to control the inductance current for good functioning of the converter in pursuit of the maximum power point. To verify the performance of the proposed solution, the system was submitted to irradiance and temperature variations.

The Cameroon has two bamboo species indigenous to Africa (the and the ), and one largely exotic species, . However, little on their physical characteristics and strength for the composites materials applications is known for these two indigenous bamboos species in Cameroon. Therefore, in this study, emphasis was laid on the alpine bamboo , to evaluate its potential for biocomposites applications.

The present study investigated the antioxidant activities of methanolic extracts of two local plants and their capacities to preserve the quality of viscera fish oil during storage. The total phenolic, total flavonoids and tannins contents were analyzed by colorimetry, the preliminary antioxidant tests done and identification of phenolic compounds by HPLC-DAD (Diode Array Detector) and ESI-MS. After these evaluation, the plant extracts were added in viscera fish oil at concentration 200-1000 ppm.

The greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories in our context result from the production of electricity from fuel oil at the Mbalmayo thermal power plant between 2016 and 2020. Our study area is located in the Central Cameroon region. The empirical method of the second level of industrialisation was applied to estimate GHG emissions and the application of the genetic algorithm-Gaussian (GA-Gaussian) coupling method was used to optimise the estimation of GHG emissions.

Integration of renewable energy sources (RES) to the grid in today's electrical system is being encouraged to meet the increase in demand of electrical power and also overcome the environmental related problems by reducing the usage of fossil fuels. Power Quality (PQ) is a critical problem that could have an effect on utilities and consumers. PQ issues in the modern electric power system were turned on by a linkage of RES, smart grid technologies and widespread usage of power electronics equipment.

The integration of renewable energy systems into electricity grids is a solution for strengthening electricity distribution networks (SEDNs). Renewable energies such as solar photovoltaics are suitable for reinforcing a low-voltage line by offering an electrical energy storage system. However, the integration of photovoltaic systems can lead to problems of harmonic distortion due to the presence of direct current or non-linear feedback in networks from other sources.
