Background: Among the different types of pain related to Parkinson's disease (PD), parkinsonian central pain (PCP) is the most disabling.
Objectives: We investigated the analgesic efficacy of two therapeutic strategies (opioid with oxycodone- prolonged-release (PR) and higher dose of levodopa/benserazide) compared with placebo in patients with PCP.
Methods: OXYDOPA was a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo-controlled, multicenter parallel-group trial run at 15 centers within the French NS-Park network.

Intracellular trafficking involves an intricate machinery of motor complexes including the dynein complex to shuttle cargo for autophagolysosomal degradation. Deficiency in dynein axonemal chains as well as cytoplasmic light and intermediate chains have been linked with ciliary dyskinesia and skeletal dysplasia. The cytoplasmic dynein 1 heavy chain protein (DYNC1H1) serves as a core complex for retrograde trafficking in neuronal axons.

Background: Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) is a rare histiocytosis that may overlap with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). This "mixed" entity is poorly characterized. We here investigated the clinical phenotype, outcome, and prognostic factors of a large cohort of patients with mixed ECD-LCH.

Therapeutic strategies for patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) have considerably improved during the last 10 years. The IFM2014-03 trial proposed an all-oral triplet induction/consolidation regimen in transplant-eligible NDMM patients, followed by lenalidomide maintenance. Induction consisted of three 21-day cycles of ixazomib, lenalidomide and dexamethasone (IRd), before high-dose Melphalan with transplant followed by eight 28-day cycles of IRd consolidation before 13 cycles of lenalidomide maintenance.

Background And Hypothesis: Kidney grafts from donors who died of stroke and related traits have worse outcomes relative to grafts from both living donors and those who died of other causes. We hypothesise that deceased donors, particularly those who died of stroke, have elevated polygenic burden for cerebrovascular traits. We further hypothesise that this donor polygenic burden is associated with inferior graft outcomes in the recipient.

Introduction: The use of different growth charts can lead to confusion in discussions between professionals. There are obstetric charts (of fetal growth) and neonatal charts (of measurements at birth and of postnatal growth). These charts can be descriptive (derived from an unselected population) or prescriptive (derived from of a population at low risk and with optimal conditions for growth).

The diagnosis of lymphoma relies mainly on clinical examination and laboratory explorations. Among the latter, morphological and immunohistochemical analysis of a tissue biopsy are the cornerstones for proper identification and classification of the disease. In lymphoma with blood and/or bone marrow involvement, multiparameter flow cytometry is useful.

Objectives: - Janus Kinase inhibitors (JAKi) are a new class of drugs available for pediatric rheumatic diseases. This study aimed to describe the safety and effectiveness of JAKi in these diseases, with a focus on longitudinal interferon-stimulated genes (ISG) assessment.
Methods: - We present a single-center retrospective study of children with refractory pediatric rheumatic diseases including connective tissue diseases, monogenic type I interferonopathies or juvenile idiopathic arthritis, receiving JAKi.

Since the early description of three patients with relapsed leukaemia after allogeneic haematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) who obtained complete remission after donor lymphocyte infusions (DLIs), the added value of this procedure to induce or maintain graft-versus-leukaemia immunity has been undisputed. For more than 30 years, DLIs have become common practice as prophylactic, pre-emptive, or therapeutic immunotherapy. However, as with many aspects of allogeneic HCT, centres have developed their own routines and practices, and many questions related to the optimal applications and toxicity, or to the immunobiology of DLI induced tumour-immunity, remain.

Background: Recent recommendations from the French High Authority of Health on pelvic organ prolapse (POP) management underline the value of a pelvic examination.
Objectives: The aim of this paper was to analyze the literature and identify the best evidence available regarding pelvic examination for women presenting prolapse-associated symptoms in terms of diagnosis and predictability of treatment success.
Search Strategy: The databases were queried similarly using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and non-MeSH terms broadly related to pelvic examination and POP management.

Background: Adult- and adolescent-onset neuroblastomas are rare, with no established therapy. In addition, rare pheochromocytomas may harbor neuroblastic components. This study was designed to collect epidemiological, diagnostic and therapeutic data in order to better define the characteristics of malignant peripheral neuroblastic tumors (MPNT) and composite pheochromocytomas (CP) with MPNT.

Background: Deep learning (DL) is an artificial intelligence technology that has aroused much excitement for predictive medicine due to its ability to process raw data modalities such as images, text, and time series of signals.
Objectives: Here, we intend to give the clinical reader elements to understand this technology, taking neuroinflammatory diseases as an illustrative use case of clinical translation efforts. We reviewed the scope of this rapidly evolving field to get quantitative insights about which clinical applications concentrate the efforts and which data modalities are most commonly used.

Storms can cause significant damage, severe social disturbance and loss of human life, but predicting them is challenging due to their infrequent occurrence. To overcome this problem, a novel deep learning and machine learning approach based on long short-term memory (LSTM) and Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) was applied to predict storm characteristics and occurrence in Western France. A combination of data from buoys and a storm database between 1996 and 2020 was processed for model training and testing.

Background: Vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT) is a complication of adenoviral-based vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 due to prothrombotic immunoglobulin (Ig) G antibodies to platelet factor 4 (PF4) and may be difficult to distinguish from heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) in patients treated with heparin.
Objectives: We assessed the usefulness of competitive anti-PF4 enzyme immunoassays (EIAs) in this context.
Methods: The ability of F(ab')2 fragments of 1E12, 1C12, and 2E1, 3 monoclonal anti-PF4 antibodies, to inhibit the binding of human VITT or HIT antibodies to PF4 was evaluated using EIAs.

Objective: Acute graft pyelonephritis (AGPN) is the most frequent infectious complication in kidney transplant recipients (KTR). The treatment of acute community-acquired (CA) pyelonephritis is based on third-generation cephalosporins (3GC) and fluoroquinolones. Cefepime or a piperacillin-tazobactam combination are more often used in healthcare-associated (HCA) infections.
