Flumatinib plus venetoclax as an effective therapy for Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute myeloid leukemia: A case report.

Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute myeloid leukemia (Ph + AML) is a rare type of AML with a low survival rate and poor prognosis. We first report a Ph + AML patient who remained in long-term remission after the combination of flumatinib and venetoclax, which could provide corresponding treatment ideas for clinical practice.

Stenotrophomonas maltophilia in a university hospital of traditional Chinese medicine: molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance.

Stenotrophomona maltophilia has emerged as an important opportunistic pathogen that is highly antibiotic resistant. Analysis of antibiotic susceptibilities, drug-resistant gene profiles and molecular typing of S. maltophilia was undertaken in a university hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in East China.

Management of hepatitis C virus infection in hemodialysis patients.

The prevalence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in patients on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) is relatively higher than those without MHD. Chronic HCV infection detrimentally affects the life quality and expectancy, leads to renal transplant rejection, and increases the mortality of MHD patients. With the application of erythropoietin to improve uremic anemia and avoid blood transfusion, the new HCV infections during MHD in recent years are mainly caused by the lack of stringent universal precautions.

Loss of HBsAg and antiviral treatment: from basics to clinical significance.

Accurate prediction of the sustained virological response (SVR) to antiviral therapy against chronic hepatitis B (CHB) is still a crucial problem needing profound investigation. In recent years, quantification of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), a reliable predictor of SVR and an ideal endpoint of treatment, has attracted increasing attention. Serum HBsAg titer may reflect the level of intrahepatic hepatitis B virus (HBV) covalently closed circular DNA (cccDNA) in most patients, and vary with natural phases of chronic HBV infection, genotypes and variants, antiviral therapy, and other related factors.

[Molecular mechanism of SHI-1 cell apoptosis induced by puerariae radix flavones in vitro].

This study was purposed to explore the effects induced by puerariae radix flavones (PRF) on human acute myeloid leukemia SHI-1 cells, apoptosis induced by PRF in vitro and its molecular mechanism. SHI-1 cells were treated with PRF in various concentration, then the inhibitory effect of cell proliferation were detected by MTT method, the cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry, the mRNA expression levels of Caspase-3, Caspase-8, Caspase-9, Bcl-2 and MLL-AF6 were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction (R-T PCR), the protein expression levels of MAPK, p-MAPK and NF-κB were assayed by Western blot, and the activity of MMP was analyzed by Gelatin zymography. The results indicated that the PRF could inhibit the proliferation of SHI-1 cells in a time-and dose-dependent manner, and the cell cycle was arrested in S phase.

[Dynamic three-dimensional ultrasound in the diagnosis of pelvic floor dyssynergia].

Objective: To explore the feasibility of dynamic three-dimensional ultrasound measurement in the diagnosis of pelvic floor dyssynergia(PFD).

Methods: Thirty female patients with PFD received dynamic three-dimensional ultrasound. The differences in angle α measured by transperineal three-dimensional ultrasound, and angle β, angle γ, and H line as measured by transanorectal three-dimensional ultrasound were compared between resting state and Valsalva maneuver.

[Impact of cyclosporine A on the expression of T-bet, GATA-3, relevant signal transduction molecules, cytokine and Th1/Th2 balance in patients with chronic aplastic anemia].

The study was aimed to explore the effects of T-bet (T-box expressed in T cell), GATA-3(GATA binding protein 3) and relevant signal transduction pathways on the immune-related pathogenesis of chronic aplastic anemia (CAA), and to investigate the immunological regulation mechanism in the treatment of CAA by using cyclosporine A (CsA) at the level of Th cell imbalance, transcriptional factors, and relevant signal pathways. The real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (real-time FQ-PCR) was used to determine the mRNA expression of T-bet, GATA-3, signal transducers and activators of transcription 4 (STAT4) and signal transducers and activators of transcription 6 (STAT6) in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMNC) of CAA patients before and after treatment with CsA; the flow cytometry (FCM) and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to determine the Th1/Th2 proportion in peripheral blood, and levels of IFN-γ, IL-12 and IL-4 in PBMNC-cultured supernatant. Healthy people were included to test the above indexes.

[Clinical and biological features in refractory anemia with ringed sideroblasts with fluctuant platelet counts].

The objective of this study was to explore the differences between refractory anemia with ringed sideroblast (RARS) and RARS associated with marked thrombocytosis (RARS-T) in the clinical, biological features and prognosis. The morphological changes of cells were observed by bone marrow smear and biopsy. Immunologic phenotype was analyzed by flow cytometry, and chromosome was examined by conventional chromosomal analysis.

The system is designed to be a middleware and you can check out whether the EHR has been modified or not by using the finger print generated by the middleware, so as to ensure the EHR's originality and authenticity effectively.

[Diagnosis and surgical management of adult Hirschsprung disease].

Methods: Clinical data of 10 patients with AHD undergoing operation from May 1985 to May 2005 were analyzed retrospectively.
