Background: The residual stone fragment is a tremendous issue after ureteroscopic lithotripsy and requires urologists to evaluate the condition of patients comprehensively. Our study aimed to construct a nomogram to make a personalized prediction of postoperative residual stone rate (RSR).

Methods: We implemented a retrospective cohort study in the Department of Urology, Shanghai General Hospital.

Desferrioxamine alleviates UHMWPE particle-induced osteoclastic osteolysis by inhibiting caspase-1-dependent pyroptosis in osteocytes.

Background: Cell death and inflammation are the two important triggers of wear particle-induced osteolysis. Particles, including cobalt-chromium-molybdenum and tricalcium phosphate, have been reported to induce pyroptosis in macrophages and osteocytes. Although macrophage pyroptosis facilitates osteoclastic bone resorption and osteolysis, whether osteocyte pyroptosis is involved in osteoclastic osteolysis still needs further investigation.

The combination of deep learning methods and oncogenomics can provide an effective diagnostic method for malignant tumors; thus, we attempted to construct a reliable artificial neural network model as a novel diagnostic tool for Bladder cancer (BLCA). Three expression profiling datasets (GSE61615, GSE65635, and GSE100926) were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. GSE61615 and GSE65635 were taken as the train group, while GSE100926 was set as the test group.

Introduction: Haemophilia A is a rare inherited bleeding disease caused by the deficiency of coagulation factor VIII (FVIII). The main treatment protocol is to administer regular exogenous FVIII concentrate infusions. With the discovery of variability in individualised pharmacokinetics (PK) and bleeding phenotype, the previous weight-based approach needs to be replaced by more advanced PK-tailored prophylaxis with an accurate evaluation system.

Department of Medical Ultrasound, Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital, Ultrasound Research and Education Institute, Tongji University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China.

Objective: To determine the diagnostic value of combined conventional ultrasound (US) and acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) imaging for the differential diagnosis of BI-RADS category 4 breast lesions of different sizes.

Materials And Methods: From April 2013 to January 2015, 283 patients (with a total of 292 breast lesions) who underwent US and ARFI examination were included in this retrospective study. The SWV for the lesion and adjacent normal breast tissue were measured and the SWV ratio was calculated.

Objective: To investigate the correlation of the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs1042522 of the tumor protein p53 (TP53) gene with the risk of male infertility.

Methods: This casecontrol study included 380 male patients with idiopathic infertility and 398 normal fertile men as controls from the Nanjing area. We genotyped the SNP rs1042522 of the TP53 gene by Sequence Mass Array and analyzed the correlation of the SNP with male infertility using the logistic regression model.
