Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a potentially life‑threatening, iatrogenic complication that occurs during assisted reproduction. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) significantly increases the risk of OHSS during controlled ovarian stimulation. Therefore, a more effective early prediction technique is required in PCOS patients.

Aims: This study aimed to identify the different expression of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in the placental tissues of pregnant women with preeclampsia (PE) and to provide a new avenue of research regarding the pathological mechanisms of PE.
Methods: In this study, we collected 40 placental tissues from PE patients and 35 placental tissues from gestational age-matched patients who gave premature birth. Arraystar circRNA Microarray Technology (KANGCHEN, Shanghai, China) was used to analyze the differential expression of circRNAs.

Introduction: This study is to investigate the distribution of inhibitory and activating killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) and the combination of KIR/human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-C in women with preeclampsia in the Chinese Han population.
Methods: A total of 271 patients and 295 controls were enrolled in our study. The inhibitory/activating KIR and HLA-C genes were detected using the PCR-SSP (polymerase chain reaction with sequence-specific primers) method.

B cell activating factor (BAFF), a ligand belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family is critical to B cell survival, proliferation, maturation and immunoglobulin secretion. In this study, the yellow grouper (Epinephelus awoara) BAFF (designated EaBAFF) gene was cloned using RT-PCR and RACE (rapid amplification of cDNA ends) techniques. The full-length EaBAFF was 1442bp and contained an open reading frame of 780bp encoding a putative protein of 259 amino acids.
