A ratiometric nitenpyram (NIT) upconversion luminescence sensor UCNPs-PMOF was fabricated from a metal-porphyrin organic framework (PMOF) and pretreated UCNPs. The reaction between NIT and the PMOF releases the HTCPP (5,10,15,20-tetracarboxyl phenyl) porphyrin ligand, which enhances the absorption of the system at 650 nm, and reduces the upconversion emission intensity of the sensor at 654 nm through a luminescence resonance energy transfer (LRET) mechanism, thus achieving the quantitative detection of NIT. The detection limit was 0.

Understanding the environmental and human impacts associated with polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins/dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (DL-PCBs) exposure from municipal solid waste incinerators (MSWIs) is challenging because information on ambient and dietary exposure levels, spatial characteristics, and potential exposure routes is limited. In this study, 20 households from two villages located on the upwind and downwind sides of a MSWI were selected to characterize the concentration and spatial distribution of PCDD/F and DL-PCB compounds in ambient and food samples, such as dust, air, soil, chicken, egg, and rice samples. The source of exposure was identified using congener profiles and principal component analysis.

Damming alters downstream sediment supply relationships and erosion in the estuarine delta. Given that sediment grainsize serves as a key parameter for the ability to adsorb heavy metals from water, the assessment of estuarine heavy metal risk needs to get connected initially. Hence, fine suspended sediment (<63 μm) in the Yangtze River estuary (YRE) was divided into four grainsize fractions to simulate the surface suspended sediment concentration (SSC) and grainsize composition before and after the completion of the Three Gorges Dam (TGD).
