State Key Laboratory of Chem/Bio-Sensing and Chemometrics, Advanced Catalytic Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Hunan University, Changsha 410082 PR China. Electronic address:

High-entropy phosphides (HEPs) have garnered increasing interest as innovative electrocatalysts for water splitting, highlighted by their distinctive catalytic activity, elemental synergy, and tunable electronic configuration. Herein, a novel electrode comprising CoNiCuZnFeP nanocubes with rich phosphorus vacancies was fabricated through coprecipitation and phosphorization two-step method. The synergistic interaction among metal elements and the modulation of the electronic configuration by phosphorus vacancies augmentation enhance the catalytic performance for both the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER).

October 2024

Key Laboratory of Cognition and Personality, Faculty of Psychology, Southwest University, Chongqing, China.

Ruminative reflection has been linked to enhanced executive control in processing internally represented emotional information, suggesting it may serve as an adaptive strategy for emotion regulation. Investigating the neural substrates of reflection can deepen our understanding of its adaptive properties. This study used network-based statistic (NBS)-Predict methodology to identify resting state functional connectivity (FC)-based predictors of ruminative reflection in a healthy sample.

Introduction: Existing research suggests an association between smoking and the incidence of recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS); however, the causal relationship remains ambiguous. We employed Mendelian randomization (MR) to clarify the potential causal association between smoking and the risk of developing RAS.

Methods: We utilized genome-wide association study (GWAS) sequencing data related to smoking from the Finnish database as instrumental variables (IVs) and GWAS data for RAS from the UK Biobank (UKB) as the outcome to perform a two-sample MR analysis.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, an increasing number of village-related modeling problems have been addressed. However, first, the exploration of village-related watershed fine-grained classification problems, particularly the multi-view watershed fine-grained classification problem, has been hindered by dataset collection limitations; Second, village-related modeling networks typically employ convolutional modules for attentional modeling to extract salient features, yet they lack global attentional feature modeling capabilities; Lastly, the extensive number of parameters and significant computational demands render village-related watershed fine-grained classification networks infeasible for end-device deployment. To tackle these challenges, we introduce a multi-view attention mechanism designed for precise watershed classification, leveraging knowledge distillation techniques, abbreviated as MANet-KD.

Stiffness Tunable Magnetic Actuators Based on Shape Memory Polymer/NdFeB Composite for Segmental Controllable Motion.

Soft Robot

January 2025

i-lab, Nano-X Vacuum Interconnected Workstation, Key Laboratory of Multifunctional Nanomaterials and Smart Systems, Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech & Nano-Bionics (SINANO), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Suzhou, P. R. China.

Soft magnetic robots have attracted extensive research interest recently due to their fast-transforming ability and programmability. Although the inherent softness of the matrix materials enables dexterity and safe interactions, the contradiction between the easy shape transformation of the soft matrices and load carrying capacity, as well as the difficulty of independently controllable motion of individual segments, severely limits its design space and application potentials. Herein, we have proposed a strategy to adjust the modulus of shape memory polymer composite embedded with hard magnetic particles by Joule heating of printed circuit, which can reversibly change the stiffness from 4.

A palladium-catalyzed tandem reaction of 1-(2-iodophenyl)-3-arylprop-2-yn-1-ones and 1-(2-azidophenyl)propargyl ethers is developed to provide the rapid construction of a fused polycyclic indenone-indole scaffold under mild conditions. The reaction proceeds via a highly ordered process involving Sonogashira coupling, propargyl-allenyl isomerization, allene-azide cycloaddition, denitrogenation, and diradical coupling. The proposed reaction mechanism is supported by experimental and computational studies.

The separation and recovery of useful organics from wastewater have been a promising alternative to tackling water pollution and resource shortages, while strategies that truly work have rarely been explored. Herein, a reversible CO triggered sol-gel state transformation mediated selective organics uptake-release system using a surface modified carbonitride (S-CN) is proposed and exhibits remarkable organics recovery performance from wastewater. Results show that CO can serve as a cross-linker for linking S-CN particles to form a hydrogel by electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding, which can be recycled to the pristine sol state simply by removing the cross-linked CO with Ar purging.
