Stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) is one of the subtype of gastric cancer with high invasiveness, extreme heterogeneity, high morbidity, and high mortality. The degradome is the most abundant class of cellular enzymes that play an essential role in regulating cellular activity and carcinogenesis. An integrative machine learning procedure including 10 methods was performed to develop a prognostic degradome-based prognostic signature (DPS) in TCGA, GSE15459, GSE26253, and GSE62254 datasets.

We found that activation and family adaptation on the self-perceived burden of breast cancer patients with an implanted venous access port (IVAP), and to analyze the correlations among these scores. A total of 256 patients completed a general data questionnaire, the Patient Activation Measure (PAM), the Family adaptation and Cohesion Scale II-Chinese version (FACES-II-CV), and the Self-perceived Burden Scale (SPBS). The total scores for activation, family adaptation, and self-perceived burden were 63.

Pyrotinib plus docetaxel as first-line treatment for HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer: the PANDORA phase II trial.

The role of pyrotinib in the treatment of HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer (MBC) has been well-established. This multicenter, single-arm phase II trial (NCT03876587) aimed to assess the benefit of pyrotinib plus docetaxel as a first-line treatment for HER2-positive MBC. Women with HER2-positive MBC who had not undergone HER2 blockade or chemotherapy for metastatic disease were enrolled in the study and received daily oral pyrotinib 400 mg plus intravenous docetaxel 75 mg/m every 3 weeks.

Prognostic impact of PTK6 expression in triple negative breast cancer.

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of PTK6 in different groups of triple negative breast cancer and its impact on prognosis.

Methods: Retrospective study of a total of 209 surgical specimens of breast cancer were identified by IHC or FISH methods as triple negative,and divided into a lymph node metastasis positive (LNM +)group (n = 102) and a lymph node metastasis negative(LNM-) group (n = 107) according to the lymph node status of the surgical specimen. PTK6 expression was detected by IHC technique in all surgical specimens.

Objectives: To analyze the mood factors in prostatitis and evaluate the effects of Molida psychological therapy.

Methods: Two hundred and thirty-six chronic prostatitis patients were divided according to the course of disease into above 6 months group (n = 31) and below 6 months group(n = 205) as well as into sexual disease group(n = 25) and non-sexual disease group(n = 211). An investigation was made by self-rating method on the basis of the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index(NIH-CPSI) and Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) and 56 cases were rated again after Molida therapy.
