Objective: To validate the use of Chronic Oral Mucosal Diseases Questionnaire in oral submucous fibrosis.

Materials And Methods: Hundred consecutive oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) patients were requested to respond to Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score and complete the Oral Health Impact Profile 14 (OHIP 14) and COMDQ. Spearman's rho correlation was used to assess the relationship between VAS and COMDQ score and COMDQ and OHIP 14 score.

Arch bars are commonly used in maxillofacial surgery but their intraoral presence for an extremely long period is quite uncommon or rare. So when such a patient reports and denies having any complaints all these years, the question that presents is, how is this possible? What kept the patient so long? A review of the existing literature shows, despite being common in trauma care, failure to follow-up has not received the due attention. This study retrospectively reviews the various factors implicated for failure to follow-up and the proposed corrective measures.

To determine the efficacy of ultrasonography in the evaluation of bone fill at the regenerate site for mandibular distraction osteogenesis over clinical and radiographic assessment- An in vivo prospective study.

Until date conventional radiographs and computed tomography are the preferred diagnostic modalities to monitor the distraction osteogenesis regenerate. But these techniques do not detect the ongoing osteogenic process; moreover they obligate the patient to serial radiation exposure. Cemented Hemiarthroplasty of the Hip in a Patient with Ipsilateral Knee Arthrodesis: Surgical Difficulties and Techniques.

Introduction: Standard references such as knee and lower leg position cannot be used in patients with knee arthrodesis with destroyed distal femur anatomy. The resulting component malposition can culminate in dislocation, decreased range of motion, impingement, and wear. To our knowledge, no cases on surgical techniques have been reported in such patients.

Introduction Student evaluation of teaching (SET) has been in use in some parts of the world for almost a century now. Though India has the highest number of dental colleges in the world, very few colleges employ SET as a tool for improving teaching. The present study was designed to investigate the attitudes of the faculty and students of a dental institute in India, and the differences, if any, that exist between the two major stakeholders.

Introduction: Acute viral hepatitis is a common problem in India. World wide data shows that 5 to 20 percent of this is caused by non A-E hepatitis. There is no data in India regarding non A-E hepatitis.

Comparison of contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography with voiding cystourethrography in pediatric vesicoureteral reflux.

Objective: Voiding cystourethrography (VCUG) has been considered as the gold standard technique for the diagnosis of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). But, it requires fluoroscopic guidance which expose children to radiation. Voiding urosonography (VUS) is technically analogous to VCUG and has the major advantage of zero radiation exposure.

Gingival Enlargement Caused by Vitamin C Deficiency (Scurvy) in a Boy.

Localized gingival enlargement associated with vitamin C deficiency (scurvy) is rarely encountered in the modern era. The purpose of this paper is to report a case of extensive inflammatory gingival enlargement in the mandibular anterior region associated with vitamin C deficiency in a 10 year-old boy. There was a significant improvement of the gingival enlargement seven days after starting oral vitamin C supplementation.

Sonographic Appearance of Testicular Adrenal Rest Tumour in a Patient with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.

Background: Testicular adrenal rest tumours (TARTs) are benign testicular masses that are found in inadequately treated patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). Recognizing this association and identifying characteristic ultrasound features of TARTs is important so as to avoid misdiagnosing them as malignancies, which can lead to unnecessary interventions.

Case Report: We describe a case of a 9-year-old boy, with a diagnosis of CAH and precocious puberty, who was referred to our department for an ultrasound evaluation of the abdomen and scrotum.

Bite marks on foodstuff at the crime scene provide a 3-dimensional imprint of the suspect's dentition. The bite mark analysis can provide useful evidences, leading to the inclusion or exclusion of the individual under investigation. This study was designed to assess bite marks on various common foodstuffs (chocolate, apple, chewing gum, cheese) for different time intervals using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to evaluate the dimensional changes in the foodstuffs.

A perplexing primary novel hilar lesion: Remember the pneumonic PPNHL!

A 60-year-old female presented with dyspnea, cough, and chest pain with a left hilar mass lesion. In our case, clinicoradiological correlation, bronchoscopy, and computed tomography-guided biopsy revealed the diagnosis of primary pulmonary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (PPNHL) on histopathology and immunohistochemistry. We discuss the approach to hilar masses.
