Study Design: A prospective multicenter observational cohort study.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the role of transcranial motor evoked potential (TcMEP) monitoring during traumatic spinal injury surgery, the timing of TcMEP alerts, and intervention strategies to avoid intraoperative neurological complications.
Summary Of Background Data: Intraoperative neuromonitoring, including TcMEP monitoring, is commonly used in high-risk spinal surgery to predict intraoperative spinal cord injury; however, little information is available on its use in traumatic spinal injury surgery.

Objectives: The prognostic significance of the progesterone receptor (PR) has been widely investigated in luminal A and luminal B [human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-] breast cancer subtypes, both of which are estrogen receptor (ER)-positive and HER2-negative. In contrast, few studies have focused on PR status in luminal B (HER2+) tumors. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of positive PR status on outcomes in patients with luminal B (HER2-) or luminal B (HER2+) breast cancer.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the clinicopathologic features and subtype distribution of invasive breast cancer in elderly women (≥70 years of age).
Methods: This retrospective study of 1,130 women compared the clinicopathologic characteristics and subtype distribution of invasive breast cancer in elderly (≥70 years) versus non-elderly (<70 years) women. Tumors were classified into five distinct subtypes based on the immunohistochemistry status of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), Ki67, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2).

Background: Point-by-point catheter ablation is an established treatment for drug-refractory paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF). However, it is time consuming, requires excellent technique to achieve complete pulmonary vein (PV) isolation, and is associated with severe complications.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a HotBalloon ablation (HBA) compared with antiarrhythmic drug therapy (ADT) for the treatment of PAF.

Background: The present study explored the treatment outcome of daclatasvir (DCV) and asunaprevir (ASV) therapy combining oral direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs) for chronic hepatitis C (HCV) including liver cirrhosis according to resistance-associated variants (RAVs) in NS3/NS5A region.
Methods: Overall, 641 patients enrolled in Japan with HCV-1b received DCV and ASV for 24 weeks. Baseline drug-resistant mutations L31F/I/M/V, Q54H, P58S, A92K, and Y93H in the HCV NS5A region and V36A, T54A/S, Q80K/L/R, R155K/T/Q, A156S/V/T, and D168A/E/H/T/V in the HCV NS3/4A region were assessed by direct sequencing.

Between November 1997 and March 2001, 4 female patients from 44 to 65 years of age with a spontaneous rupture of the urinary bladder were analyzed. They complained of abdominal pain and had undergone an intra-pelvic gynecological operation (3 for uterine cancer, 1 for an ovarian cyst) several years before. The three with uterine cancer had also received radiation therapy.
