An 86 years old man was diagnosed with jejunum tumor by detail examination of anemia. Eight days after endoscopy he developed abdominal pain, an emergency surgery was performed by a diagnosis of gastrointestinal perforation. They detected perforation in jejunum and performed jejunum resection, small intestinal lymphoma was diagnosed by histopathological examination.

Background: Various factors contribute to the development of infection-related acute encephalopathy (AE) in children, such as infectious agents and chronic underlying disorders. We studied underlying disorders in children with AE to identify predisposing factors of AE.
Methods: We investigated underlying disorders or past histories in patients with two types of AE from the database in the Tokai area of Japan between 2009 and 2022: 204 patients with AE with reduced subcortical diffusion (AED) and 137 with clinically mild encephalopathy with a reversible splenial lesion (MERS).

Aim: This multicenter retrospective study aimed to clarify the surgical and oncological outcomes of patients with high-grade soft tissue sarcoma (STS) who underwent prosthetic replacement reconstruction after lower extremity tumor resection.
Patients And Methods: We retrospectively collected the data of 27 patients with high-grade STS. The mean follow-up duration after prosthetic replacement was 44.
Key Clinical Message: -deficient thoracic carcinoma is a malignant tumor that may present as cancer of unknown primary. This tumor is refractory and requires a novel approach. In addition to identifying therapeutic targets, multigene panel testing can reveal novel genetic mutations, leading to more pathologically relevant diagnoses and appropriate tumor care.

The purpose of this study was to identify an effective drug with fewer side effects against DF by drug repositioning, and evaluate its efficacy. Background: The Japanese Association of Dialysis Physicians, the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy, and the Japanese Society of Nephrology jointly established COVID-19 Task Force Committee and began surveying the number of newly infected patients.
Methods: This registry of the COVID-19 Task Force Committee was used to collect data of dialysis patients; a total of 1010 dialysis patients with COVID-19 were included in the analysis. Overall survival of patients was investigated with stratification by age group, complication status, and treatment.
