Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between perceived comfort level with moral distress and moral sensitivity among oncology nurses METHODS: This is a descriptive-correlational study on 210 oncology nurses. The samples were selected through the convenience method from September 2020 to February 2022 in the oncology centers of Ahvaz, Iran. Data were collected via a demographic form, Lutzen's Modified Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire, Corley's Moral Distress Scale, and Kolcaba's Nurses Comfort Questionnaire (NCQ).

Effect of Intra-articular Dexmedetomidine on Postoperative Pain after Knee Arthroscopic Surgery.

Background: This study aimed to prevent and control the pain after arthroscopy that leads to patient satisfaction, rehabilitation, and return to normal life as soon as possible. It is hypothesized that there is no difference between intra-articular injection of dexmedetomidine and placebo after knee arthroscopy regarding pain level.

Chronic gastrointestinal bleeding caused by a Dieulafoy's lesion in the small intestine: a case report.

Introduction: Dieulafoy's lesion, first found by Paul Georges Dieulafoy, is an infrequent but important cause of recurrent upper gastrointestinal bleeding. The bleeding is usually severe, but patients rarely present with chronic, occult gastrointestinal bleeding.

Case Presentation: In this article, we discuss the case of a 68-year-old caucasian man with a history of recurrent hematemesis and chronic anemia with evidence of extravasation of contrast in the lumen of the bowel loop on computed tomography angiography.

ACE2 as a Potential Target for Management of Novel Coronavirus (nCoV- 2019).

Bevacizumab and erlotinib versus bevacizumab for colorectal cancer treatment: systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background Improving the survival of patients diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer requires the use of chemotherapy to be managed with minimum adverse effects. Randomized control trials (RCTs) have shown promising results with a combination of bevacizumab and erlotinib to block two important tumor growth pathways, namely vascular endothelial growth factor and epidermal growth factor receptor. Aim of the Review We aimed to examine the efficacy and safety of the combination of bevacizumab and erlotinib with bevacizumab alone in the maintenance treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer, by examining PFS, OS, overall response rate (ORR), and toxicity.

Thunderstorm asthma outbreak, a rare phenomenon in southwest Iran: patients' perspectives.

Previous studies that described thunderstorm asthma, which is a rare event, are not being well explained. This study was conducted, to describe the patient perspective on their asthma attack experience during Ahvaz post-rain phenomenon. We have interviewed patients present in the Naft clinic of Ahvaz, during 28th October and the first week of November 2015.

Endothelin-1 Expression in Prostate Needle Biopsy Specimens Correlated With Aggressiveness of Prostatic Cancer.

Background & Objective: As the prostate adenocarcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumors in males, looking for a marker to effectively predict aggressiveness and metastatic potential in an apparently localized cancer in initial needle biopsy specimens can help the clinicians to make more appropriate decision for treatment, planning, and choosing appropriate targeted therapy. The present study assessed the value of Endothelin-1 expression to predict prognosis of prostatic cancer.

Methods: In a cross sectional study, 83 patients who underwent radical prostatectomy in Hasheminejad Kidney Center in 2008 through 2012 were assigned to two groups including 43 with and 40 without extra-prostatic extension (EPE).

Validity and reliability of Persian version of the Specific Nordic questionnaire in Iranian industrial workers.

Background: Nordic is one of the most popular questionnaires for evaluating Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs), but no studies have been reported on the reliability and validity of this questionnaire in Iran.

Objective: The aim of this study was translation, cross-cultural adaptation and validation of the Persian version of the Specific Nordic questionnaire (SNQ), and evaluation of the reliability of this questionnaire for the assessment of WMSDs in Iranian industrial workers.

Methods: The SNQ was completed by 122 Iranian industrial workers with lumbar or knee musculoskeletal disorders to assess the reliability and construct validity.
