The surface properties and color stability of interim crown materials may vary depending on the toothbrushing procedure. This study aimed to investigate the effects of toothbrushing and different toothpastes on the surface roughness (Ra) and color stability of different interim crown materials. Disc-shaped specimens were prepared from four interim crown materials (Tab 2000 (ChPM), Imident (LaPM), Protemp 4 (ChDM), and Telio-CAD (CadPM)).

The receptor-binding domain (RBD) of SARS-CoV-2 attaches to the human ACE2 to initiate binding of SARS-CoV-2 to human cell and leads to the infection process afterwards. In this study, various mutations of SARS-CoV-2 spike RBD and human ACE2 complexes are investigated via density functional theory (DFT) computations to obtain binding free energies. The DFT computations are performed without fragmenting the interfaces to involve longer-range quantum mechanical interactions for improving accuracy.

Unlabelled: COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on both adults' and children's everyday lives. Conversations about biological processes such as viruses, illness, and health have started to occur more frequently in daily interactions. Although there are many guidelines for parents about how to talk to their children about the coronavirus, only a few studies have examined what children are curious about the coronavirus and how they make sense of the changes in their everyday lives.

To evaluate the effects of photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) at distinct energy levels on peri-implant bone healing in extra-short implants in a experimental rabbit model. The effect of PBMT on peri-implant bone healing in short implants remains unclear. This explored the effect of PBMT on extra-short implants in terms of bone-implant contact (BIC) length and rate, and implant stability quotient (ISQ).

This research was aimed at presenting performance of 3-dimensional input convolutional neural networks for steady-state visual evoked potential classification in a wireless EEG-based brain-computer interface system. Overall performance of a brain-computer interface system depends on information transfer rate. Parameters such as signal classification accuracy rate, signal stimulator structure, and user task completion time affect information transfer rate.

Recovery from pneumonia takes around 3−6 months in individuals with severe COVID-19. In order to detect the isolated damage caused by COVID-19, the 6-month period must pass after the recoveries. However, to our knowledge, no published study analyzes a comprehensive evaluation of individuals with severe COVID-19 after 6 months.

Objective: , a Gram-negative pathogen, especially which produces carbapenemase, is seen as a major threat to public health due to rapid plasmid-mediated spread of resistance and limited therapeutic options available for treatment. Although colistin has been recognized as a "last resort" antimicrobial for multidrug-resistant infections, these isolates have developed resistance to colistin as a result of its intensive use. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of double-carbapenem treatment of colistin-resistant experimental sepsis in mice.

In this paper, a new WHT-LWT-GFDM waveform obtained by combining Walsh-Hadamard Transform (WHT), Lifting Wavelet Transform (LWT), and Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) is presented for use in next-generation wireless communication systems. The proposed approach meets the requirement of 5th-generation (5G) and beyond communication schemes in terms of low latency, low peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR), and low bit-error rate (BER). To verify the performance of the presented waveform, PAPR and BER simulation results were obtained in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and flat Rayleigh fading channels, and the performance of the proposed system was compared with conventional Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), GFDM, and Walsh-Hadamard transform-based GFDM (WHT-GFDM).
