Introduction: This study assesses the perception and challenges faced by medical students in adapting to India's competency-based medical education (CBME) curriculum. The curriculum is gradually being accepted nationwide. Students and faculty are continuously trying to implement all components of CBME in their practical and theory classes.

Pattern of edible oil consumption and practice of reuse: A health concern.

Background: The per capita consumption of edible oil in Indian households has risen substantially in the last decade contributing to the rising incidence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Increasing prevalence of reuse of edible oil for frying is an unhealthy practice, as it gives rise to formation of free radicals and other harmful agents. Hence, present study highlights the pattern of edible oil consumption and practice of reuse among the families along with the influencing factors while purchasing edible oil.

Hyperekplexia (HPX) is a rare hereditary disorder characterized by an exaggerated startle reflex and neonatal hypertonia. It exhibits both autosomal dominant and autosomal recessive inheritance patterns, depending on the gene involved. It could be a fatal neurogenetic disorder, but it is treatable.

The Effectiveness of a Tailored Faculty Development Program for Undergraduate Mentoring and Its Impact on Mentor's Perceptions: A Mixed Methods Study.

Objective: "Anubandh" the existing mentorship program at our institute used to start with enthusiasm but lacked sustainability throughout the year. This study aimed to assess the need for designing and conducting a faculty development program (FDP) and evaluating its impact on effective mentoring.

Methodology: FDP was designed by assessing the perception of 50 teachers regarding undergraduate (UG) mentoring at a tertiary care teaching institute in central India, the NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur, India.

According to various proposed theories, activation of platelets during thrombocytopenia leads to changes in platelet parameters like mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), plateletcrit (PCT), and platelet index (PI).

Background: After recovery from acute Covid infection, many patients are found to be experiencing persistent symptoms.

Objectives: To find out the proportion of patients with persistent symptoms after discharge from a Covid hospital and to assess post-Covid-19 functional status.
